You know the answer. UOB VOX and pay via UOBPayOnline.
Also it is not accumulated on yearly basis, you will need to spend once every statement cycle else RM 6.36 will be charged to you on monthly basis.

Insurance, you can charge your card to AEON and pay via PosOnline and use any of your online transactions cash back cards.

Aiya, check out this thread's first post and see what we have tried so far: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3964961 rolleyes.gif
CIMB CR is not a good card at all for utilities. If you can qualify for PBB VS then much better but unfortunately you only have the choice of UOB VOX for now.

1) Charge all your general expenses to any of your AEON cards.
2) Pay your AEON card via PosOnline, it has AEON payment but comes with 2% service charge. Use cards which give online cash back like PBB VS, UOB VOX and CIMB CR.
3) Get your cash back. Usually it is 5%-2% = 3%, so you still earn 3%. biggrin.gif

Only fixed allowances will be taken into account. Therefore your income (RM 36k per annum and below) only allows two issuing banks' cards.
Petrol - Maybank Ikhwan MasterCard (5% cash back on petrol and groceries on every Friday and Saturday, cap cash back at RM 50)
Phone bills - UOB VOX (5% cash back for online transactions, only RM 50 and above per transaction will be entitled for cash back).

It has annual fees and cannot be waived. So, if you are prepared then can apply. You will need to spend 10x minimum RM 50 to activate the monthly cash back.
It is my most used card as it has highest cash back. biggrin.gif

Thanks for highlighting that combo. Yes, I did consider it but my transactions like insurance tend to be large and lumpy and higher than the RM1600 limit. Will be too much of a hassle.

you can just change your insurance to quarterly method and this would be a smaller amount which you can charge to Aeon and then to your online cards (UOB, CIMB, PBB)
