1. Annual Income: RM60K to RM100K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: No (if rebate worth for the annual fees)

3. Card required for:

- Petrol (300/month) - Maybank Ikhwan (Friday/Saturday) / AEON Big (Sunday)
- Groceries (400/month) - Maybank Ikhwan
- Insurance (600/month) - - CIMB Cash Rebate
- Utilities - Unifi, TNB, Astro (600/month) - CIMB Cash Rebate
- Mobile (85/month) - CIMB Cash Rebate
- Online Shopping (200/month) - CIMB Cash Rebate
- Others (500/month) - CIMB Cash Rebate

4. Existing credit cards if any:
- Maybank Ikhwan Mastercard
- NEW AEON Gold
- AEON Watami (replace by AEON Big soon)
- CIMB Cash Rebate
- Maybank2Card
- OCBC Titanium

5. Looking at CC from: Any cash rebate card other than currently holding

6. Others: since AEON watami is discontinued I have to switch my monthly expenses over for more cash rebate, looking for any cards that can benefit more on Insurance/Utilities spending. Just apply for HLB Wise & Essential last week but get rejected, was thinking to use HLB Wise mainly for Petrol & Groceries, then Essential for Insurance and others. Now I have no idea which card to replace it.

1. Annual Income: RM180K and above.

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: If yes, better. If not, that's okay as I can cancel if they don't waive.

3. Card required for: Going to do house renovation and buying lots of house furniture. Need to see which card has the best return (cash back or points)

4. Existing credit cards if any: HLB Wise, PBB VS and Maybankard 2

5. Looking at CC from: None yet.

6. Others: Doesn't have to be long term card.

Thanks!

I suggest the Standard Chartered Just One Mastercard platinum card. Just need to put 2K a month on it to earn 10% on petrol. Sometimes when I top up TnGo at petrol stations, it qualifies for cash back too. Should be easy to get 2K on it with your home purchases - but first I suggest get the 10 transactions on Wise first.

I never apply this car before, because it needs at least 10 transactions per month.

I have such amount of transaction to perform per month, but I have to utilize it at another credit cards which give more reward. (wise also got AF that cannot be waived, so i cant waste all my transaction in this card)

so besides wise card, what else I can use? so far i see the list, only UOB One and Citi cash bate card got rebate for telco(2%, not limited to recurring bill)

any else?more reward?

how much is your mobile/telco bills per month? which telco?

if on average >RM500, HLB Wise's 10% cashback suits you. worth the AF if you trying to max the card each month.
if on average about RM200, then Wise is definitely not suitable. use other cards with lesser benefits but convenience in paying the bills.

ya, around 100++ only actually, haha

all those card with retail spending cashback like watami, scb gold, alliance younique i will utilize it all at the start of the month,

so, i cant just put my spending in those retail spending rebate card since after capping, those cards are useless liao

so remain for the card has explicit rebate on telco spending.

In conclusion, i assume that only UOB one and citi cash back liao right.
