Hi all! I recently purchased the new Vios 2017 - G(AT)

Everything's fine except for the multimedia player, not sure if any of u have this or have solution or not

1) If i press the Off button, when it opens, the setting resets and it asks for my language, and i have to set the time again.

2) When i use spotify to play song via bluetooth, the display will show the song i am playing but when the next song comes on, the song name is still the same, only the bar (that shows timer for song) updates.

Anyone has a solution before I contact my sales representative? Or should i wait for 1000 km to fix in service center?

Hi guys! I'm thinking of buying a Vios 1.5G (AT) with aerokit. Got any advice or feedback?

1) it happens to me too. but mine happens randomly. doesnt matter if i off or not, it just happens

2) i'll try playing songs from my HP tomorrow and see if the display updates. i did try playing song through my HP but it was kinda soft so decided to stop. when testing didnt really take note of the display

you mean GX variance? the G doesnt have the kit option, the only way is get the GX variance.
honestly it depends on your need (as there are things to give and take), but so far it serves me well.

2) Happens to me too, but when my friend played with her Spotify, it updates. I think hers is paid, mine is not.

My spotify is premium too but i have the same problem. My fren's vios dont have this problem. This is probably a fault in the player? I'll call my sales representative to see if there's anything I can do before the 1k service

Hi guys, i'm sry to say that i just hit a parked car side mirror with my own side mirror.
when i take a look it just got minor scratch and the control switch and 360 camera work fine.
But when i'm driving the mirror start shaking and wobble especially on uneven road and pothole.

can it be fixed or do i need a replacement mirror, and how much would it cost me?

i'm a third gen gx owner. thanks

I'm u sing spotify each time i hop into my car and the next song title works well.

G 2017 Jan car.

1. no happened.
2. very seldom use Bluetooth. not aware of it.

but I use usb pendrive to play song. I found 1 problem. if you choose shuffle/ random, every time after u restart your car, the song playlist sequence will remain the same.

mine asks for language everyday and i thought it was normal

U may dismantle that side mirror,normally have few screws to tighten up together with door.maybe loose or the worst thing is damaged

wow, i just take a look at the side mirror and found out that it just loose and just need a simple push to snap it back in.

Get GX spec instead, with nicer 4x sport RIM and OEM aerokit.

Of course, extra different of rm 3k price tag if you can afford. Nowadays, many peoples car (called as "2nd wife") already civilized and want to look great with rim(shoes) and aerokit(dress skirting) when ladies go out(on the road). We were in year 2017, not like zaman 1995 - 2015 anymore. People 's demands, expectations and needs have been upgraded. In term of safety features, both G and GX spec quite comparable.

I would recommend to UMW Toyota to consolidate J and E specs into a single spec, consolidate G and GX spec into another single spec.Standard nice RIM and Aerokit are compulsory for all variants/spec. For ALL front and rear ventilated DISC braking system, extra airbags and complex advance safety features, only top TRD spec have it, while consolidate G/GX spec CAN have it as optional.People look at safety features, reliability + durable, proven good track experience brand, comfortable, NVH ..etc when buying a car. Take a look at Altis car, only 3 specs, 7SRS Airbags, GOA body structure..etc. If you can afford, perhaps getting C or higher car segment. Alright??
