Yes, all center across Peninsular will get the same stock, which is from Shah Alam.
Once your loan has been approved, only then SA will call out stock from HQ.

That is what my SA told me.

Got my Vios E spec Super White colour yesterday (Saturday), but my car road tax registered on Friday. Got my car in 5x business days. Super fast with trade in old saga car too.

Anyone know where to install additional 3rd brake led light (length about 2 - 3 feets straight long) underneath of the bonnet, middle between rear fog lights. I saw few super white Vios cars with this straight led light installed. Thanks

Use semi-synthetic oil for 1st service and monitor. For next 5k service, use full synthetic oil b4 reaching 15k. Put ron97 petrol for better mileage.

is this proven?

For me, yes.. and got slightly better mileage after 1st service. Use ron97 will be even significant if you can afford the cost.

For new car, orig is loaded and use mineral oil before reaching 1k mileage.

1st 1k mileage, you got option to use 1) mineral oil (5k) or 2) semi-synt (5k) or 3) full-synt (10k) (if you cash load)
2nd service is 5k mileage. Recommend full-synt before reaching 3rd service 15k mileage.

How much KM you can go with full tank before you made another refuel ?
*
Forgotten. But prior to 1K service, petrol like drink water fast with full tank RON95 provided by SA.
After 1st service 1K , get / put semi-syt oil and RON97. I felt better mileage.. But I cannot remember the detail.

I will pump full tank RON97 this week AGAIN and start calculating the mileage per liter.. Will Never pump RON95. Why bother the cost when you are
afford to buy a new car ? hmm.gif Perhaps, should survey the mileage first b4 buying new car.. biggrin.gif

Dear Sifu,

Got my new car last month and need to do 1st service (NSP151R).

On the 1st service table observe:
Premium mineral package price = RM119.00

Synthetic formulation price = RM 149.00

5w-40=RM 259.00

0w-20=RM169.00

So for first service if I want to take synthetic formulation, I need to pay RM 119 + RM 149 or only RM 149 price?

Ask salesman, he also not clear.  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif Thank you Sir.
*
My experience only.. Check out from ==>>> https://toyota.com.my/ToyotaOfficialWebsite...ce-Packages.pdf Or https://toyota.com.my/aftersales-services/service-locator or call up Sale Advisor (SA).

1st Service = 1K - Use mineral or semi-synthetic oil, as next service reaches 5K mileage. Usage mileage 4K . No need expensive full synthetic oil.
2nd Service = 5K - Use FULL Synthetic Oil, as next service reaches 15K mileage. Usage mileage is 10K.
3rd Service = 15K - Use FULL Synthetic Oil, as next service every 10K mileage and follow the compulsory next service/checking

If you plan to use mineral or semi-synthetic oil for 2nd/3rd/4th ..etc..etc SERVICE, service your car every 5K mileage.
If you plan to use FULL synthetic oil for 2nd/3rd/4th ..etc..etc SERVICE, service your car every 10K Mileage. Just a thought.

Thank you for the advice.

On the cost side, based on the table from Toyota as per attached link provided, which synthetic oil table recommended:
1. Synthetic formulation, or
2. Full syn 5w-40, or
3. Full syn 0w-20.

Based on table not much different for price between synthetic formulation and 0w-20 but large different with 5w-40.

My first car, sorry for inconvenience cause due to many questions.
*
https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-differenc...30-5w-30-10w-30

Go for 5W-40 , as operating at a "hotter" environment here, you require a 10W-30 or higher
to maintain sufficient viscosity to lubricate your engine. While 0W-20 is super viscosity weight helps in fuel consumption by 0.2 - 2.5%
Let the service advisor explain and recommend when you are at service centre.

https://toyota.com.my/ToyotaOfficialWebsite...ce-Packages.pdf

Full Syn. if you can afford

Last time, I bring my new car mileage at 820km to service center, as next 2 weeks workload busy.. After serviced, a sticker for next reminder service at 5k.. no issue, ask service advisor opinion when you make an appointment.

Dear Vios Owner,

Which Petrol do you pump usually and find it is good in term of higher RPM, Performance and FC?

Personal experience:

BHP + Caltex - High RPM(slightly above 1K) , Performance Pickup so so, FC = average.
PETRONAS - Low RPM (0.25 below 1K), Average pickup performance and FC = slightly average
Petron - RPM + Pickup performance + FC = slightly better..
Shell - RPM = averg , Performance pickup = weak, FC = high ( drink water )

Is semi / full synth or mineral oil engine lubricant makes a lot different ? Just curious .

Hi,
I own a New Vios 2017

Need to confirm,

Any new vios ownner has facing this problem, belt rewind sound ( sound like rewind cassette ) when turn the power steering and start to move ?

The sound mostly come out when your turn the car steering and start to move out from car park or when you start to move your car. the sound time flame is short and silent after this

The toyota service guy said is normal and i'm been inform that, all toyota vios got this issue. isn't ?

Hopefully can get the answer

Thank you
*
Normal for new engine . Before run a car, usually warm up first..
If the car sufficient warm up.. I didn't hear it. Let hear from others..

Service Advisor(SA) will explain more. I forgotten now.

Any reason you want to TURN OFF the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) ? Save a bit petrol consumption? , better environmental
while compromise safety / visibility matter ??

May I know if we install the anti-roll bar will void our car's warranty?
*
Plan to both anti-roll cornering bar and rear stability bar ( 30 mins) at rm7xx, get a better carpet, installed tail gate 2 feets long led light(bottom between rear fog lights) using 3M doublesided tape ( 10mins ) connected to 3rd braking cable and put extra holding hook hanger for my 2 months old car.. Went to eksos shop, put bigger and nice looking chrome eksos head for rm 100 (abt 15mins ). Removed the J, E, G, GX or TRD signage, wax the surface.

Just do it, as salary week.. No need to think about warranty. hmm.. now, I m thinking to search for nice "Japanese TRD" car sticker to suit car colour, get bigger dvr storage, add few good speakers or change wheel bigger 16" rim in next salary week?

Anti-Roll cornering and rear stability bar - Put on HOLD first. Not Plug and Play.
Front /Rear / Side Skirting and Spoiler, 3rd braking led light. went to computer shop, remove old DVR 8GB memory and put in
Kingston Class 10 32GB memory card(rm60) for bigger DVR storage recording.

how much damaged for the whole set of skirting and spoiler ? looking good. Material ?

thanks.
*
GX body skirting cost about rm 1.2k, warranty 3 months, deposit rm 200, waiting period 10 business days to ensure genuine paint really dry and not "out of orig" colour.. TRD body skirting is cheaper by rm 100, but too many TRD body skirting on the road..that's why I choose GX..Purposely take half day leave and Great job installed on weekday. Shop owner said, need concentration with few workers holding it and if task need to be done on weekend maybe busy and less focus..got cheaper body skirting cost advertisement in mudah, lelong websites, but I choose the shop that have regular got few car did the body skirting installation. Get experience and expert do the job.

Do not know the material name, but I saw material is very soft and very light, can be lifted by 2x fingers. just plug, gum, drill few holes, wax, touch up paint and task done in 90mins weekday. Later, saw 2x Jazz cars also plan to install skirting with triangle 3rd braking led wiring connected , beside the eksos.

Mind to share where you got it done ?  Need to drill to the body or just the bumper ? Thanks again..
*
Drill just a few small beneath holes in front / side and rear, for stronger holding. Cannot be seen through naked eye, unless you jet up yr car, or you lying down..
Shop owner said, better holding by putting screw + nut rather than 3M double sided gum. If 1x part flow up / missing, e.g left side body skirting, can just order 1x part, paint + install it, rather getting whole set.Make sure get stainless / colour nut during installation. On the road, less GX body skirting compared to TRD.

I do not know. Pls help to advise.. Will be seen by Toyota Service Advisor?? Just seek uncle Google, aunty YouTube, search mudah and lelong websites, before I make decision to install it.. https://www.carid.com/articles/what-type-of...d-i-choose.html

Anyone install the 2 feet long led as another 3rd braking light (between the rear fog lights) ?? I m searching and interested to have a more solid reliable + brighter led lights hook up between the rear fog lights. For many Jazz car, it is a triangle led 3rd brake light.
