I loved the trip to Camerons. Definitely must hike the tea plantation.

Went to Cameron Highlands last Wednesday for 1 day trip like i've said in the previous page, but woke up late tongue.gif The night before was raining~super syiok when sleeping. But then because already planned with my friends, so off we go. Depart around 9.30 a.m. The road lil bit wet, and the corners there makes me as driver also dizzy. Aiyak. But the wind there, superb! even cooler than aircond in car laugh.gif Maybe bcoz it's raining the night before. Didn't see the sun for the whole day. Only managed to went to Boh Centre and Kea Farm because got to catch up with time. Nice place! Around 5.30 pm depart home. doesn't have the guts to drive at night, the road freaking me out. Dark+sharp corners. But CH really a good place for relaxing. After this i'll surely go again, maybe for weekend thus got plenty of time to spend thumbup.gif

recently i went to CH. stay at bala chalet. overall the place is nice to stay. went to jungle trek at hutan lipur parit fall. hike all the way to the top n enjoy the nice view from there.

but the sad thing is we were con by a vege stall at kea farm. it's the first stall on the left hand side when u enter. the lady sell us strawberry at rm5 per box and it's only half full. while other stall selling the same price but full box.

for flower we buy at arkid peladang which i think the flower dere are reasonable.

for food, we avoid brinchang. we had all our meals at tanah rata which is the best thing. the best food was the pancake opposite of maybank tanah rata. yum yum.. thumbup.gif

U must know where to find food..Those higher than Tanah Rata confirm cut-throat especially those in Brinchang..sumore horrible taste! Those in Tanah Rata is reasonable & having similar to KL price. I liek Tanah Rata Mayflower & Hong Kong steamboat...sumore Hong Kong sometime ada curve.. drool.gif

Just to share what I did during my recent CH trip on Saturday & Sunday....I went for Refllesia flower hunting!!

I booked the 1/2 day tour from TJ Tour at Tanah Rata (RM60/pax & RM30/child)..Meeting point at Kea farm butterfly farm. The road trip took me ~45min from Kea Farm to Lojing in Gua Musang Kelantan.

We went wth 2 hired guide (Was told the agent paid RM30/pax to the Temiang orang asli. Dunno true or not hmm.gif ) From the orang asli settlement it's just another 200M away where we detoured into a real unpaved logging tracks!! 2.5km of roller cosater ride, the dirt road stopped at the trail head & thereafter...another 2KM or ~1 hr++ walking in thick jungle towards the refflesia site

Here's the photos from my once in lifetime sighting of the largest flower in the world! This species is the 3rd largest species after the Sumetera & Sabah species.

Any hotel to recommend for one night stay there? Budget below RM200 and the problem is I'm going there on this Friday.
Hopefully it's not packed like sardine~

School Holiday..definitely packed! At RM200 during peak period, you probably getting those so-so hotels such as Rosa Pasadena, Rainbow, Iris House, Star Recency, Titiwangsa, Parkland & more in Brinchang. Or in Tanah Rata, probably Cool point, Cameronian Inn & etc..Tanah Rata is nmore for budget travellers thus you can find much reasonable pricing Inns rather than hotels such as Twin Peak, Julina, KRS & etc..mostly ~RM80 duirng peak & RM60 during off-peak (Wth attached bathroom)
