Thank you., stimix. I wanted to add more videos to write up. But YouTube rejects my big file. Bought a ram mount to help record road trips up and down simpang using iphone4s but the video files are really too big. Any free, 100% virus free software to compress and resize move format?

Hi Guys,

Just came back from Cameron Highlands smile.gif
A party of 11 persons having a very good time.
Here is my diary:

Saturday, 30th June 2012
- 7am: Depart from Seri Kembangan
- 9am: Met my pals in RnR Rawang, we go together-gether mah
- Go uphill via Tapah and wife got excited with the petai :3
- Stop somewhere about 20km before Tanah Rata, someone needed their vomiting session biggrin.gif
- Go uphill again and reached KRS Pines, Tanah Rata by 12pm
- Road going into the guest-house is bad (for a stretch of like 50metres?)
- Room and guest-house is clean, and the care-taker is friendly smile.gif
- The shower was so damn cold. Skin felt numb during shower if u don't turn on the hot water :3 Anyway, the hot water needed a minute or two to buffer, FYI.
- Room is simple, just for sleep and shower. No carpet so don't be "opocotted" if u step on the floor. Bring your own electric kettle if u feel like making hot drinks or masak maggi (i don't think this is allowed) biggrin.gif
- 5am: Went to pasar mlm at Brinchang. It is located opposite the Police Station. Traffic jam and for the first time, spent more than RM100 in a pasar mlm :-/
- 7Pam: Reached KRS Pines and rest a bit watching TV at the lounge
- 9am: Torchlight dinner at the small park of the guest house (got marble-made tables and chair - ball freeze)
- It was very cold at night, lucky got wife to hug2 :3

Sunday, 1st July 2012
- 10am: Breakfast at the guesthouse - western style :3 It is open until 11pm.
- 12pm: Mardi Agro Tech Park. Strawberry ice-cream and pudding. Cactus. Yadda yadda yadda
- 2pm: Visit another strawberry park near golf area on the way from Tanah Rata to Brinchang. Cannot go in >_< Just watch and buy some strawberry. Cactus is cheaper over here (RM10 for 7 small cactus) :3 Kasimanis Strawberry Park is the name, I think.
- Heavy rain, want to go back oledieee...so we go down using Simpang Pulai. Afraid of landslide if we use Tapah. Traffic jam until hentian rehat (but i dunno the name of the place >_<" I only remember that I pee-pee at the hentian rehat) - and car screen got foggy afterwards for like 30 minutes ~_~
- Oh ya, no need to engage low-gear when going downhill, it was not as steep as Genting's smile.gif

That is about it. We didn't plan anything when we go there. We just mayin hantam sajaaaa. OK bye.

From Nilai, drive towards NSE (northbound) via Elite. This will take yr fren thru NKVE then joining NSE at Sg Buloh overhead R&R. Drive all the way north (following Ipoh and Bukit Kayu Hitam's signs). Exit at Tapah. After Tapah's toll, turn left and drive for another 60km before reaching the first town, Ringlet then Tanah Rata and then Brinchang.

Back from Cameron for a 3D2N. Stayed in a marvelous bungalow, it is my first time there but from my p.o.v there is no point staying around Brinchang area, its so busy that you would not feel like having vacation apart from the low temperature. The bungalow i checked-in was around Ringlet-Tanah Rata.

Departed from Subang Jaya on Friday morning, headed Tapah for breakfast. Once exited Tapah toll, take right turn and within a minute stop by right hand side for a good roti prota/chapati hut under tree they as well serve nasi lemak. Moved to Gua Tempurong afterwards, to take package 3 or 4 you have to be there early. Best to reach before 10am those who love challenging adventure this will suit you well. These tour going to take you 2hour 30minute to 3hour 30minute depend on which package you desire. After the gua session, headed Kampar Yau Kee(non halal) Restaurant for lunch, had their famous curry chicken bread and a few other recommended dishes. And then head to Lata Kinjang the waterfall you can see on right hand side when travelling to Ipoh. A fun place to chill out but have to hike a little bit and beware of very slippery rocks. By the time we finished it was already near 5pm, so we took Tapah path to Cameron. Reach, check in, dinner and end of the day.

On Saturday, breakfast in Tanah Rata. Spend around an hour plus for jungle tracking in the trail of Robinson Waterfall. Lots of eating activity afterward, durian/strawberry/corns. Just too much of those stall along the way. Visited a few strawberry farm and the night market in Brinchang. The potato and corn i had was really sweet, loved them. So we bought stuff for the dinner (barbeque). Night? Eat all the way! Almost bust my stomach.

On Sunday, had some conversation with the owner of the Bungalow. The place we staying are just way too nice, the owner a team of doggies that help him watch over the place. Coincidence i am an absolutely dog lover, had a good talk with owner and interacted with the dogs. The whole place is only one unit of Bungalow, which totally rented by us for the weekend so the privacy is absolutely at maximum. The Bungalow was well kept, it has 5big room each with toilet, two storey, with full range astro subscription and wifi provided. The Bungalow is fully surrounded by Lavender & Jasmine where the air is even more delightful. The last day we went to Boh plantation. Had tea, cakes and climbed up to the view point. And that was it for my last weekend.

Added on July 17, 2012, 11:24 amp/s cannot compare the Bungalow to any other places. You might have a nice balcony for viewing certain angle of hills in famous hotel but the place we stayed we had the whole hill for ourself LOL, clean, lovely, safety and absolutely full privacy. No point driving all way up Cameron and stick with the crowd/busyness i must say.
