Yup, is still there alive and kicking. Hidden behind a soon-to-be chapel on a hill top. They have an additional outlet nearby beside Heritage Hotel called Gerard's too.

Just went there a month ago, highly recommended smile.gif

Hi kiawin, Gerrard's is the new one compared to Father's..? is there any dorm..? appreciate if you can write a brief review regarding Gerrard's. TQ

On an impromptu trip to CH, I called and tried to book Gerard's. Unfortunately it was fully booked and they offered me a double bed in Father's instead. The owner was very friendly as he called me to offer Gerard's on my departing day as there's one double bed room (somehow) available. My guess someone wanted the Father's instead.

Hence I stayed at Gerrard's for two nights. The beds are new and clean, very comfy. Like Tunes minus "free-show" toilets. Furnitures are new and modern, as depicted in their website. I personally like their common area outside the apartment under the staircase. Good for makan food tapau from Night Market.

I guess their business was so good, they have such high level of trust to their customers, where we only paid our lodging on the second day late afternoon. Of course partially this was due to my late arrival on Friday Night 10PM and they were kind enough to lead me to the apartment straight without settling the bill in their office at Father's.

I did paid a visit to Father's when I returned my key, and I find Father's was nice mostly like to Westerners as its interior was old fashioined with wooden floor, staircase etc. However its room wall was those partition-type as compared to solid cement wall in Gerard's.

I give a big thumbup.gif for Gerard's for its affordability, cleanliness, comfort and not forgetting their friendliness.

PS: On second night I met my guailows apartment mates, he offered me to join them for a can of beer smile.gif

hi, i will be going to cameron highlands this coming saturday with a toddler. i will be staying at strawberry park resorts (tanah rata). but after i look thru the map, most of the places to visit actually located near brinchang. my questions here are, how long does it take to travel (by car) from tanah rata to brinchang and the road condition (very windy)? or any other interesting places to visit at tanah rata area?

i am bringing 1 yr old toddler. hehehe

thank you very much!

About 15-30 mins, depending on traffic smile.gif

On Sunday, had some conversation with the owner of the Bungalow. The place we staying are just way too nice, the owner a team of doggies that help him watch over the place. Coincidence i am an absolutely dog lover, had a good talk with owner and interacted with the dogs. The whole place is only one unit of Bungalow, which totally rented by us for the weekend so the privacy is absolutely at maximum. The Bungalow was well kept, it has 5big room each with toilet, two storey, with full range astro subscription and wifi provided. The Bungalow is fully surrounded by Lavender & Jasmine where the air is even more delightful. The last day we went to Boh plantation. Had tea, cakes and climbed up to the view point. And that was it for my last weekend.
Mind share with me the details? Thanks smile.gif
