RM2.5k is very plausible for a US strat but RM3200 for a Gibson? There is no god in this world!!!

What fish? Water Fish??? (Only chinese would get it)
And as for plugging in via a regular speaker VS a proper guitar amp.... of course there's going to be tons of difference. If played at a too loud volume, your regular speakers might blow. I've seen it happen. Not a pretty sight. About the Electric sounding classic...... there are simulators (like the Boss Acoustic Simulator) or effects which MAY make your electric sound like an acoustic..... but even that..... won't sound like an acoustic (Unless you have a piezo system installed...... but that's a whole different issue AND bank balance)..... |

it is a pickup modeller.
what distinguishes most pickups are their frequency response. thats why its so expensive, EURO140, roughly RM650. and this pickup has been around for 20yrs or more. saw their ads in guitar world in the early 90s also. heres some additional info i found on it. i just have no idea how to switch it off, i guess just set everything in the middle should be default bypass in most cases. Vol.-controls the output level of the EQ/preamp circuit. After making EQ settings, use this control pot to set the output of the EQ/preamp to the correct level for the amplifier or effects unit you are using. 100 Hz-Provides 12dB of bass boost or cut. 300 Hz-Provides 12dB of low midrange boost or cut. 1K Hz-Provides 12dB of midrange boost or cut. 5K Hz-Provides 12dB of high midrange boost or cut. 10K Hz-Provides 12dB of treble boost or cut. N/R-Controls the input level of the EQ/preamp. For the best signal to noise ratio, set this control to the full on (clockwise) position and use lower settings for the EQ and volume control pots. Anyone here tried any newer Zoom multi fx pedals? Like the G7.1 or G9.2? They look bloody cool... wonder how they compare against my old GFX-8.

I remember one of our users uses a G9.2TT...... forgot who.... Hooked it up to a modified Vox AD30vt with an FX-loop and uses it as a power-amp as well. Raving about it.......
I stuck with the Vox Tonelab SE..... Extremely happy with it.... just made a Vai like distortion patch today..... boosted by my little ZW-44 overdrive. And I think I found my next guitar: http://www.scienceimage.csiro.au/mediarele...air-guitar.html Now with YouTube! This post has been edited by blacktrix: Nov 14 2006, 11:20 PM |

anyway, the live album from los lonely boys, live at the blue cat blues, good stuff.
first 3 songs, including a cover of scuttle buttin', on it were when they were very hungry and very srv like, which btw was recorded at a SRV birthday jam in 2000. |
