Ouch bro! thats sad to hear... I do hope you fully recover and get back your skills.
one of the worst things that can happen to a guitarist. quite a few people also seem to get the carpel tunnel syndrome. |

QUOTE(noisetrigger @ Nov 12 2006, 04:07 PM) Oh, you ordered one too? Got here di? I noticed on the packaging it was stamped 28 October 2006 by Malaysian Customs. It was mailed on the 20th from the States. Yeah got here a few days back when I wasn't around. mine dilepaskan kastam 05/nov wor. guess, yours got pretty delayed. No wonder why yours didn't come earlier considering u ordered it earlier. The Pos Office here just plain sucks, took them two weeks to delivered it to my house. The build quality is really good for the bar, solid, lighter, and the brushed look is really cool. A good matched to my almost faded to chrome edge pro. It's really nice, just that the brushed look didn't look as brushed as I expected (as compared to the usual brushed aluminium). I didn't want it to be too bling anyway hehe. If possible I would have wanted it cosmo black to match my Edge Pro. Weights pretty much the same as stock to me. |

QUOTE(noisetrigger @ Nov 12 2006, 05:14 PM) Don't worry man, soon your edge pro will fade too match your bar haha as much as i wish it won't happen, its bound to happen with regular use anyway.I could have swore it was lighter. I guess I should dig up my broken bar to compare. i have both in my hands, and it weights the same. This post has been edited by MetalZone: Nov 12 2006, 05:18 PM |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 22 2006, 08:45 PM) you sure? i cant find that model anywhere online. Thats what I heard. It's not released yet. But it has been leaked out at jemsite and the official ibanez forums. I'm guessing it will be a 2007 model. Also coming out in 2007 is a new V, which someone had already posted, the V-blade VBT700.i checked both japan and USA ibanez sites, not listed. btrix... SHWEEET! the trem is something u have to understand and then it won't be a pain anymore. the guide below will be very useful for u despite being more specific to ibanez guitars: http://www.ibanezrules.com/tech/setup/index.htm This post has been edited by MetalZone: Nov 22 2006, 11:47 PM |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 22 2006, 11:45 PM) yea that V is suppose to be whatshisname's new model right. sam totman or smtg... yea, from dragonfarce...forgot, think the band is called dragonfarce but the guitar he is using is a double locking fixed bridge (edge FX) the one projected to release is a regular tune-o-matic |

this is one of my all time favourite V's... the Ibanez ProLine PL2660.
http://www.ibanezregister.com/Gallery/proline/gal-pl2660.htm the white one looks sweet. theres a black one in tham's place. neck-thru, original edge trem, ebony fretboard. i prefer this style RR V's. the jackson's lower horn seems a bit too short This post has been edited by MetalZone: Nov 23 2006, 02:02 AM |

QUOTE(noisetrigger @ Nov 23 2006, 11:50 PM) That is a fantastic deal!!! ARGHHHHH!!!!!! wow very nice deal. original super wizard neck and lo-pro edge...I wish I have the money now. Sadly won't be officially working until next month also. Would have bought that in a heartbeat. Wonder who is the lucky dude that will snatch this deal of a lifetime. The seller could have easily sold it for RM2k+++ |

QUOTE(joeboto @ Feb 6 2007, 10:08 PM) as far as i can remember, i have used poslaju countless times and they seem to arrive on time almost all the time. that is, provided it was sent before the cutoff time which is 3pm, and you have taken in account public hols. but i think on some rare occations they do arrive 1 day late.my picking isnt very clean either... i try my best to mute the thicker strings with my right palm. still, with high gain, theres bound to be some noise with movement. QUOTE(RustReaver4D1 @ Feb 8 2007, 12:18 PM) Thanks, guys... depends though. the maple top doesn't contribute THAT much of a difference, particularly if it's only a thin layer (4mm?). the pickups and the rest of the body define the tone more. the maple top gives that little extra top end.Not sure if I'd want to go for a maple top for my next guitar as I'm not too fond of bright tones. Plus, it's kinda pointless to have a graphics paintjob on a flamed/quilted maple top, huh... |
