Look out for the volatility of RHB-OSK Asian Total Return ,is not as low risk as short term fund. Short duration bonds are those with less than 3 years duration, would be ideal if you are looking to reduce your bond holding’s sensitivity to interest rate movement.

I'm new to FSM/funds and am thinking of going in anytime. May I know what 0% fee in 30days you are talking about?

honestly guy, can FMS unit trusts beat ASB return and satbility.
Any of the funds can do that? I mean for people like us who cant take ASB.

IRR is the average annual return earned through the life of an investment...thus the higher the %, the better

IRR represents the annualized compounded annualized growth rate  (CAGR)
IRR cannot be used when  investments are not periodic and its returns are varied. This is done using the Excel function, XIRR.

Save that file under a new file.
from this new file ...substitute the IRR with the XIRR function....
see got different results?

IRR u use when the cash flows are simple e.g. car loan repayment where beginning got inflow (loan disbursement), then every month FIXED INTERVAL got outflows (the repayment).

Where the cash flows are irregular, u need XIRR formula...IRR formula no need dates, XIRR needs dates.

Xirr cannot be used on my excel ...... only IRR can.
my son's pc can use Xirr
