Anyone encounter a very strange behavior with smart key? I just notice that it can't screen capture by using the smart key for Tower of Savior ( which was ok a few weeks back ), but the double knock do work in screen capturing TOS. The smart key work with screen capturing Coc, Thunder Raid etc..

Saw battery got doze and the permission control also (promt for access right)
I don't do video.. Not something I'm good at

Anyway this is only a BETA and there are bound to be bugs everywhere.
Still trying to figure out

Doze and Fingerprint API (that allow fingerprint access to 3rd Party Apps)

Can use Password Manager (those who implement Fingerprint API) to store your Password&ID and then login/access without typing. (eg. Banking account / Paypal / Websites etc)

Can't find finger print API being used here in EMUI 4.0 not like my nexus 6p.. The only 2 API I saw being used is the permission manager and Doze

I have tried to check the battery management, the phone is set to use the highest performance (mean consume battery fastest) mode.
So the battery management thing is not the source of the problem.

I have tried an experiment today.

If I was to keep the app in the background, mean if I click on the right bottom button and the medication reminder app is in the list of all background app, then the reminder function works perfectly fine.

As soon as I clear the app from background, nothing work anymore.

I have tried the app in another phone (Sony) and regardless of whether I clear or do not clear the app in background, it functions as expected so I think the app has no bug.

So then i left to suspect the Honor 7 itself. I am very sure I have the setting in the phone to include this app as a protected background app. So it should run even if I manually clear it from background.

any idea what else I can do?

A side note, the Honor 7 is set to Chinese, as my parent only know to read Chinese. The app is also installed in Chinese although it has English version as well.

hmm? maybe you try download some apps from PlayStore that utilize the Fingerprint API?

Hmmm guess you'd have to leave it in the background then.

There was once I was using some phone, can't remember which brand, and I was using uTorrent in the background.  Like you, when I clear the app from the background, the app was closed/terminated.  When I tap on the app icon, the app started all over again.  BUT, on other phones, this behaviour was not observed - even when I swiped it away from the background apps, it would still be running.

can you show me how to flash the europe version properly,
I already install B100 Europe from B100 Malaysia using fastboot since not working if using local update, but the rom cannot be update using B100 TO B121 update file,  the will bootloop if B100  to B121 update file is installed .
   
one more things is 'custom version' info ( bottom in Rom info) is missing after using fastboot
, help me please
