Well the idea certainly serves the purpose of simple reminder but that is all it can serve. There are other features on the medication reminder app which this simple alarm will not provide.
Typical medication reminder app allow user to input amount of dosage, medication name (chemical or brand), picture of how the medication looks like (a pil, an injection, for sucking, etc), its color for ease of recognition by people of specific needs (like elderly). It also has refill reminder, some also has pill count. It also store the record of medication consumption, so you can trace if you forgotten.
The app is especially useful for people with more than 1 medication per time, and more than 1 time per day, and each time the same medication is to be taken with different dose. Certain medication app also allow medication reminder of multiple persons, so if you have more than one elderly at home and need your care, you are in convenience to track.
So unless you are the type of people who suffering from an illness or has the need to consume medication of this complexity, or need to take care of patient, chances are you will not appreciate and understand what a medication reminder app can do for you.
Of course one can always go back to the pre-smartphone era where people use paper and pencil and still successfully control their medication plan but the convenience if the app is working is undeniable.

so back to my original question, no one has any idea how why is the app not working?
Is there any battery settings like Performance, Save Battery, etc, which may be killing the apps?Typical medication reminder app allow user to input amount of dosage, medication name (chemical or brand), picture of how the medication looks like (a pil, an injection, for sucking, etc), its color for ease of recognition by people of specific needs (like elderly).
