Wouldn’t this place become badly jammed if it does actually develop? Like the current commute to Shah Alam or KL is bad enough as it is already.

Hi,
There seemed to be a huge land-preparation (heavy vehicles) next to Danau Ria(block 1).. Any idea what is being developed there?

All KV sub urban have this problem. Govt really needs to force car buyers to the mrt. No other way. At least the residents here have the option to take the Kuang KTM to SgBuloh MRT. Its a matter of want.

Mrt takes decades to build

KTM had no plan to expand. So have to wait

Kuang KTM is 5mins from GG and 5 mins or so ride to mrt sg buloh. Existing infra that malaysians are typically not interested in.

It's inevitable that traffic would get worse. There is no question that GG will eventually become a proper developed town, and the surrounding areas are also rapidly developing which would contribute to the jam.

Doubt GG will build shoplots since their focus on Gardens Square (shoplots) and their shops at the main showroom are not fully taken up yet.

Maybe its another developer?

Definitely. Will like to think Gamuda will widen the main roads and increase the toll booth (similar to what spsetia had done with setia alam). As for north south highway, it will be jammed. Good thing that GG sits in the confluence of 3 major highways so there are choices... and like i said, ktm komuter is right there waiting to be utilised to sg buloh mrt

I actually considered to buy here but decided against due to commuting concerns. In reality, going to KL/PJ the north south highway is the only real alternative and that highway is already very congested. Going forward, traffic will get worse. Stay there only if you don't need to commute during peak hours.

My take is, if goin for new landed, i suppose everywhere will be congested? The new projects are all 35 to 40km away and all are jam and potentially more jam in the next years. The main consideration really is whether you love landed or highrise.

Compared to most highways in the Klang Valley, NSE southwards / northwards is one of the least congested at peak hours but traffic is definitely getting heavier compared to a few years ago.
NKVE towards KL for example is far worse. But the main issue I think is the lack of viable alternatives if we are going to KL/PJ.

That's the point. No viable alternatives to KL/PJ. Unlike Elmina for example where you can use GCE/Federal or GCE/NKVE or DASH or even subang airport rd/ kota damansara etc etc to get to KL/PJ
