I got myself an R9 270. Powercolor Turboduo brand.

Did I get cheated? Seems like there are only 1024 stream processors instead of 1280

R9 270 with only 1024 shader processing units does exist

The box only says R9 270 without any mention of SP count. Even PowerColor's website does not list SP under card specs.
I've sent them a mail to see what's going on, device ID of 6819-1002 is literally a 7850....

I'm guessing any new units of the R9 270 will be silently swapped to these chips. Or maybe I'm just unlucky.
Thought I got a bargain for RM500 but turns out this be a 7850/R7 265 in disguise....

Even if it existed it's literally mis-advertise imo. Won't you be mad if your 390x only have 2560sp?

Lol AMD Gaming Evolve Raptr is the culprit behind Microsoft Edge slows down. Deleted it, problem solved. Although I have to admit the software is nice though.

Yeah I feel shortchanged. Wrote to Powercolor Malaysia and international. No reply so far.
I'll probably just live with 1024 SP and be done with it.

I remove Raptr and install standalone Plays.TV for recording. Still not perfect though, buggy when i run Vivaldi + Dota 2.
