Interestingly it says compressor free, not sure how the cooling technology is like

Also, intact seems new in the market? I didn't included it in my initial comparison due to cost, and generally didn't find any other purifier that can go flat against the wall like LG.
*
Found this in their E-catalogue, afaik heat exchanger = compressor, not sure how they differentiate it

Ok I got confirmation, if under Self Service plan, if the usage is more than 10l/day and filters exhausted within 6 months; technician will need to be dispatched for checking and customer have to pay RM 70 labour charge (inclusive of filter change and checking)

If using the technician care package, then no additional charges.
*
The reply i got is slightly different, mainly LG HQ is only concern about whether customer request extra filter is due to worse than expected water quality; or, heavy usage / abuse.

If former (bad water quality), LG is willing to send extra filters without any charges; if request too frequently, LG may send technician to check whether it's the latter

If latter (heavy/abusive usage), I'm not sure whether customer can pay extra to have more frequent filter delivery, the machine recommended usage is 10L per day or 5 ppl per household

I know you are just a messenger, not a manufacturer or HQ, so not blaming you, but it really doesn't add up. We drink about 5L per day, just drinking, there are 2 of us. Plus cooking etc it comes close to 7L even if I don't consider rinsing etc. There are 2 of us, not 5. So in 180 days we will be close to 1200L for a couple in 6 months, while the filter is good for 200 gallons.

But maybe I am an outlier, you guys have an app, how much water you actually use? I doubt you guys stay below 5L/day for a household of 2-3, but let's see
*
I use about 5L/day and also 2 of us, so still can use a bit for rinsing while stay within the 10L/day recommended usage, but we personally don't use it for rinsing

I'm not sure what's the difference between 1800L capacity and the NSF capacity 200 gallons, anyone has experience?

I'm now considering Coway kechil - nicest design, mostly tankless, and it's still mineral water. Almost pulling the trigger, unless/until I find something out lol.

I always suggest LG, not just because I'm LG agent, but with facts and figures.

Compared to LG WD518:
1) Kecil is priced RM3590 (Free 1 yr service), per year service costs RM610, LG is priced RM3200 (Free 2 yr service), per year service costs RM320.

In short, with LG u save RM1000 (3590+610 vs 3200)

2) If rental, it's RM115 vs RM90 per mth

3) LG has fully automatic moving tap, prevents water from spilling out, safer hot water use

4) LG offers volume control at 10ml interval

5) LG has stainless steel internal pipe

6) LG has UV sterilisation for water faucet

7) LG has automatic internal sterilisation function (not sure if Kecil has it or need wait technician visit)

All in all, u pay less but get more with LG

But if u prefer the design then it's all subject to personal preference la haha

Nobody uses intrix?

If u like the sleek water tap design, in Msia ur choice probably are Wells, Intrix and PuriEarth

But they all priced RM5k+, except PuriEarth RM3k

I suggests LG for cheaper price but more functions

Wonder if they ever do any promo
*
Hmm no idea

Maybe normal price = 3 units of Cuckoo, after discount = 2.5 units of Cuckoo haha

Hi with ur budget RM50/mth can consider LG WD516 (got hot, cold and ambient water) ya

Ori price is RM60/mth, but current promo is to clear stock for white color, so only RM50/mth

Or if u like more function or the design, LG WD518 is our latest model, but its RM60/mth

Ur site I think can install using an adaptor (install vertically instead of horizontally as show in pic)

Also, LG provides every year 1 time free relocation, so no worry if u keep moving every year

The issue is the cartridge cost. Cartridges come out very expensive if you change them on time. But otherwise it is a good filtration method, slow passing of water through carbon means good taste and efficient removal
*
https://shopee.com.my/Brita-Maxtra-Micro-Fl...6c-43bd217236ec

1 cartridge lasts 1 month, so that means RM200 for 6 mths or RM400 for 12 mths

The filtered water still need to be boiled before drinking best to be safe...

Hellow.
Want to ask, for water purifer rental, is it like, in the rental years, the price can change?
or is it fixed in T&C? Meaning, is there a risk that halfway through they raise the rental price to double ?

like LG/Coway/Cuckoo
*
Hmm I know Cuckoo is 5 yrs contract, 3yrs one price, 2yrs another price, not sure any other brands also like that

But everything should be in their contract la, unless the agent didn't tell u then.....

But LG is memang 1 price from head to toe bro

I’m thinking along the lines where if they simply raise prices later then abit susah.

I think so far no case like that kut
*
Won't la bro, there'll be a contract in place, everything's black and white to protect both sides

Guys, now I really need your help. Anyone knows a good plumber? My employee is facing visa issues and while we are solving it, we need a backup. Our backup we had, became horrible, like totally crazy. Anyone hired a plumber or filter installer recently in KL/Selangor area can share contacts?

If using the standtype, then 3 years service on outright purchase. I just sold one of this.

And careship price differs based on model and type of service

Your price is for WD516AN on self service.

Attached is careship reference for entire line up.

Can DM for promo or info.
*
Ya my price are for 516 and 518 self service

Btw few years back models like 515 or 512 had promo of 3 yrs Careship instead of 2 yrs
