Sorry Axx8882, been away from the PC.

Can't remember the TSER% numbers...but the FWS is Ultra 70, and the others are 4 mil security tints (7 years warranty for all). These tints are from the previous series, not sure if they are still available. The new ones should be out. But invest in a good tint (you get what you pay for) ...cooler interior, less air-con usage (tf better FC), protection for the interior, etc. and it looks good too  cool2.gif
There are many series, ask for a demo for each series, and choose the best that fits your budget, using your SA's voucher, and some nice talk to the tauke  biggrin.gif
*
I decided to go for the Raytech V97 (pre-GST non-security tint) all around + Q70 front (second to Ultra 70), but I guess I'm not good enough in negotiating sad.gif I'm paying more than what you did and your tint (security + best front) seems better too.

Gosh the car installed with auto lock will unlock itself when the driver switches to P? Thats so unsafe. Can someone confirm this?
*
If you are idling put the gear in N and pull your handbrake. This system has the advantage that when you want to drop off somebody you can unlock the doors by shifting into P.

But just to be clear this autolock system by shifting gears doesn't come with the car. You have to install it as an aftermarket accessory.

Hi, I am looking to get Mazda 3 soon. Is there anything i should look out before purchasing the car (promotions, freebies/lucky draw available?

Preferably to get meteor grey colour (GLA Medium spec). Anyone know how much would be the market price for Myvi 1.3 Ezi (Automatic) - with no airbags for resale to help on down payment? So far i was told around RM18k. Is it roughly correct?

This gear operated autolock is cheaper and better than the brake autolock by GS Accessories. I'm thinking of installing it too and looking for a device which gives an alarm arm/disarm sound. The silent arming/disarming is very inconvenient and cause me to have to double check that my car is locked.

I saw someone posted a video in Facebook which when you switch your gear to D then your car will lock and when P the door will unlock even if your ignition is still on.

I preferred to step brake to lock, after lock switched to P still lock till I ignition off then it'll unlock.

Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dV-J012SKjU&feature=youtu.be

The one you mentioned is like the auto lock in Persona, Persona auto lock work like that. Press brake it will lock and ignition off then it'll unlock.
I miss that Persona auto lock feature too...
Wow... there is something Proton beat Mazda... doh.gif

kluseng, i totally agree with you about the alarm arm/disarm sound.

It happens to me too especially when I am not mindful. I had to double check to see if my car is locked or not. doh.gif

Please correct me if I'm wrong , I thought the alarm arm/disarm sound can be enabled? Its like 1 beep for lock and 2 beeps for unlock.

Btw, whats GS Accessories?

The alarm arm/disarm sound cannot be enabled for our CKD version. The Owner's Manual they give us is hopeless. It contains options for so many variants including overseas Mazda 3 that you don't know which one applies to you.

GS Accessories is the authorized vendor for Bermaz. Any work done by them won't void warranty but price is high and choices are limited.
