she is the worst character in TS. other crews were flawless. but her is a no-go for me vmad.gif  vmad.gif

Couldn't agree better...she was annoying and what she did was purely like a kids decision....she knows that Marcus is a cyborg and they told her that he did all that just to get to the resistance...yet she freed him....and all of this is coming from a responsible and professional A-10 Pilot was is suppose to follow directions...the characters was just out......but I think mukhlisz means the actress and not the character.....Moon Bloodgood is nice... drool.gif brows.gif

Anyway, since I'm a fan of arnie as well, just rewatched 'True Lies' this morning (after so many years)...my god..I forgot how a crazy film can be so entertaining, with impossible actions and cheap one lines and laughs which was good!...man...I missed him..

It's an ok movie, better than the last terminator, but certainly not a classic in the vein of the first two.

I agree with a post above that the terminator is ultimately about the thrill of a ruthless machine chasing after a human.

Also, the sneak previews of the future in the first 2 movies always kept us high on anticipation. In this movie, this element is simply gone since it is already the future. Sad but true.

i like the movie. it's entertaining and seeing that it is one of those summer blockbuster movie, it is something that i leave my brain at home to go to the cinema to watch type of movie.

not like die hard fans here though.

but of course i don't think this movie can be as good as the first 2 movie. but then again, who said this movie was as good as the first 2 anyway?

one thing really irritates me was the fact that they used too many 'parody' of the previous film.

come with me if you wanna live.
i'll be back.
kyle reloading the shot gun like sarah connor.
john connor hearing kyle's moan for help (he did the mistake when he was 12 and he did it again 20 years later wtf lol)
the 'lava' scene of freezing the terminator.

pffttt... McG, come on. we need originality

Or when you just have taste. But, and this is not directed to anyone in particular, if you can find enjoyment in a piss poor film, then by all means enjoy it.

nobody mentioned how the special effects kicked ass?

the scene where Marcus just arrived at Skynet and is accessing it's database, even at such a close up of his face, the blending of his face to the CGI robotic skull was flawless!

this is the 1st time i've seen such an effect done at such a close range. Harvey Dent's deformed face was pretty badass already in TDK but even they did not show him in such a close up.

A little bit off topic. Does anyone knows why Sam Worthington a.k.a. Marcus is suddenly the hottest man in Hollywood. Look at TS, his character have more screen time than Christian Bale. No wonder Bale cursed like mad. Also he's going to be in Avatar and the remake of Clash of the Titans.

I don't see anything with him. No charisma like Hugh Jackman or Heath Ledger. Just look like some plain old redneck.

well,I watch it yesterday with my fren!

I would like to give 4/5! thumbup.gif

b4 u watch Terminator Salvation,I would like to tat pls dun compare with T1,T2 & T3. Because, this episode story line is totally different from prev 3 episodes (as we know tat prev 3 episodes shows Arnie was send back to the past to protect john connor). This is the story about the future.

Sum1 also mentioned there is a small part where "Arnie" appears (CGI), IMO....the "Arnie" face is based on "Terminator 1" face look!

I'm an advocate for CGI but the action scenes in T4 were just poorly executed. It was jarring and messy.

Is there an action scene that is not jarring and messy?

Those are parodies? They look more like homage. In other words it is sort of a fanny-kissing. To my eye this is done probably because a guy like McG didn't feel like he can win the audience over by his own merit, so he evoked the ghost of the past movies. But for the audience who have already kissed Mr. (I'm the King of the World) Cameron's derriere for so long, any kind of fanny-kissing done to their No.1 movie of all time is a travesty.

John Henry, Cameron, Catherine Weaver and probably a cyborg version of James Ellison.

Yes, i know some of them are against Skynet, but somehow they regroup and support the stronger side.

haha...if only it was true... icon_idea.gif
