Just to clear things, for those who thinks the machine is not as high-tech as in T1 or T2, it's because in T4 they're showing the timeline where the T-800 was just built. T-600 is dumb, but T-800 is much more intelligent. So in the sequel we'll be able to see more machines

Haha, the writer of the first movie never really think that far, they just make the first movie and never planned for sequel..Unlike star wars where everything is written properly. In Terminator the sequel need to blend into the previous movies, and sometime it will just stuck there..
