Currently my gaji entitled me to get Gold card but not platinum. Let Say I dump a figure of 60k to FD, will they consider to submit to my request by issuing me a plaatinum card?

if not mistaken you need to use rhb card for this code and only entitled for june.

You dump 10k also can get already.

If you dump 60, you can get 1 Platinum gold card and 1 Visa Infinite (30k) or 1 Visa Signature (20k).

Or you can get all of the above

For the 10th time in this thread, I've confirmed it repeatedly already.

20k can get Signatures and 30k can get Infinite.

may i know how to pledge the fd to get VS card? can do it online?

if i pledge the fd, what happen to my fd? lower or no interest for it? any adverse effect for that pledged fd.

for vs card, can the annual fee be waived easily if i didnt achieve the expense requirement?

Many asked about visa signature, but none is confirm with answer.
Maybank seems hard to offer any waiver for fee and service tax (last time).
Have to wait for first forumer to report the actual experience.

You need to pledge an FD of 25k at their base rate instead of any promotional rates available currently.

Pledging FD means you will be bounded with 12 months at least with the bank and it will take 90 days to get back your pledged amount from the bank.

Just go to any major branch and tell them that.

I went to KLCC and they confirmed to me twice, 20k can get a Visa Signatures already.

Maybe next time you should specify which card you want, because last time I put in such amount, they asked me specifically what card I want.

As for the annual fee, Maybank are not that generous. But you may have better luck compared to me.

You'll need to give them the physical copy of the FD slip.

Branch will keep it until the day you want to redeem the FD back from them.

Good luck. Since you already got a Platinum, I doubt they will grant your request further unless you put in more money

Is it possible to say apply Maybank 2 primer (free for 1 year).
After 1 year, cancel the card, apply again 1 month later to get 1 year free again?

That way, don't need to pay yearly fees.

After you cancel, got 6 months cool down period before you can reapply again.

And you can only do it once probably. Next time you try it again, bank would probably know your trick and won't approve the card for you?

Go to 1U card center. 60 minutes can kaw tim, no need to go thru agent and wait 5 working days.
