i wonder how all those xtras of friends and family will take in effect?

i assume all will be gone, and need to follow the new service carrier xtras already

if using prepaid, 016 to 012, then top up ticket should changed to 012 right? previously the first 3 number will tell us the telco, now no more.

I beh song the existing provider ma,

1) I believe it is not really deposit, a maximum RM25 can be imposed by new telco, it is up to new telco to charge or not.

2) existing telco? I am not sure, user are advised to check with existing telco for deposit arrangement, different telco different policy and TnC.
If you are really referring to deposit, then it is referring to postpaid, better check with your existing telco first, prepare for 15th September 2008

is there a way i can get new number with other telco now?
eg. 016 with maxis
so i no need to pay the 'deposit'... lol

My port out suppose to success, but previous telco and new telco, both can call out few hours ago, but call in, will go to new telco line already

you have to source the number that you want at the repective telco and transfer from there.

I just DIGIED my maxis number just now, have to wait around 5 days, gave me a new digi sim card....

within the 5 days, wat line will u be using?

continue to use maxis line till the telco "Maxis" icon on your phone disappear, and when this happen you change to the new digi sim card provided.

Make sure you used up all the credit as it is consider burn.

DIGI is FOC, no need to pay anything for prepaid, postpaid not sure as not yet launch.

During this trial period all telco should be giving porting as FOC.

U mobile only a baby, i would not switch to this telco.... somemore real coverage only in klang valley, others are using celcom.
