can a postpaid line be converted to a prepaid line via this number portability?

for example,

from maxis one 98 to hotlink prepaid?

Yes, just go to center and ask them to do it for you

How about the other way round, prepaid to postpaid. Need to go to centre or someone here can do?

Hi..
I on plan rate hotlink em/ec..cannot change plan to hotlink fast..
I would like to mnp to other telco and getting back to hotlink fast..
My question is:
1) which telco can i mnp which i can mnp back to hotlink within short time?
2) suceed or not if i do this?

Does hotlink need to stay 30 days before port out? Wanna port out as I dont need same line at one time. It is Digi okay at town area?

Can I know is it necessary to stay with umobile for at least 30 days before I can port out to other telco?

when you postpaid want to change to prepaid .....can be done but you must MNP to other telco and follow thier cooling period(can not port in/out within 30 days /1 month usually)......
then you can port out to the other telco usually
I will check which is the best prepaid plan and then straight change to the telco which i prefer

Not necessary. Have accompanied friends to change from Digi postpaid to prepaid, it can be done instantly without switching to other telco. Kindly go to your telco center to do, not those small small shops that can do MNP.

well i have been to Digi center where my friend change his celcom line to prepaid from postpaid which they say can not be done need to MNP to other telco and we went to the HQ

From celcom postpaid, change to celcom prepaid first, then port out. Save the hastle of changing to whatever telco and change again after 30 days.

I need to switch to celcom from maxis. I have just received my bill for maxis on 7 march. So do i settle that 1st then go to celcom to port out? What about my bills from 7 march to today?
