Can’t adapt to the fast paced action RPG style. Prefer turn base. I don’t even know what’s happening on screen la. Too many things. So sad...

It is not "traditional classic turn based" where every action is dependent on a filled ATB. Trandional turn based, is once the ATB filled, u can choose what u want. Item, attack, magic, defend, limit break etc. Each character in your party will go through the same process.

In ff7remake, classic means auto attack. The ATB will be filled on each attached, once full u can choose magic, ability etc. Buy the attack is auto, Cloud will go on a glamorous rampage hitting enemies with the water melon sword.
U can choose not to control Barret, and he will also on auto attack mode till you activate his ATB.

In the end, ff7remake is meant for younger generation gamers, where the hype of turn based rpg is already dead. We should have seen this coming with Ff15.

At least we still got dragon quest and Persona.

Ayam old timer and approved this new battle mechanics. The sense of urgency to execute command is there.

If it's dmc, I'm fine. If it's Kingdom Hearts, I'm ok. But ff7, that's too much.

Still feel like turn base to me.

Enjoyed the demo. The game is very pretty and I like the gameplay system, though there's slightly too many thing on screen at once. Some of the movement is kinda slow though, need to remember it is still action RPG. I keep trying to dodge the boss missiles instead of blocking it lol.

Voice acting english or japanese better?

I cannot blame people who are getting angry over about RPG, Square enix already mention, they wont go back for RPG.

They want everybody look forward current generation play new stuff, and also technology has changed they cannot just stay the old tech forever.

I hope the remake will have at least half the content of RDR2.
Please don’t let it be a <30 hours game.

I’m expecting them to split this into 3 and then maybe some DLC (advent children?).

If first episode alone can reach 50 hours of gameplay, I might actually buy it. Planning to wait for all episodes to be out before playing tbh. Demo might change my mind, we'll see later today

Waiting to play it all on the PS5 wouldn’t be a bad idea.
It’s not like the story can be spoilt lol.

My problem is lets say it's split into 3 episodes.. Kinda need to replay the game like twice. Since have to wait a year between episodes, no feel anymore into the story. Sure la already know everything, but the story feeling and progressing gone already after playing other games xD

That's why I'm only playing the game on the PS7 when they relase the Ultra Mako FF7 Remake Remastered 8k edition.

Perhaps by then they patched up classic mode to actual turn based atbs.

Not till Aerith dies.

Guess we are looking at 5-6 episodes lol.
And this is excluding Advent children.

Perhaps just wait for the complete edition only buy it. Maybe 5-10 years only completed on PS5? 😅
