Battle System: Classic Mode
Classic Mode can be activated by selecting “Classic” from the difficulty menu. In Classic Mode, party members will act automatically, with the ATB gauge filling up as they do so. In this mode, the player only needs to select which abilities, magic, and items they will use their ATB charges for. This brings the feel of the gameplay closer to the menu-based battles from the original Final Fantasy VII but with the amazing immersive graphics of the remake. It is also possible to revert to direct control at any time during Classic Mode by pushing buttons on the controller. Not exactly classic then, rather ff12 mode. |

QUOTE(IccyAsd @ Jun 13 2019, 07:10 PM) I think its 3 episodes ? i may be wrong. But if the first episode makes lots of $ i would think max 1-2 years will be completed. Midgar is complicated to build compare to open field, I don't think so 2 and 3 would take so long since the base asset is ready All they have to do is use the asset in the engine to build the rest of the world, cutscenes and design more monsters. |

To be honest, hardcore fans (I am one of them) won't care how many episodes it will be. As long as they continue the ff7 remake series, no matter how long they gonna take to complete the story, I will support. FF7 remake is the sole reason I bought PS4. And I definitely will buy PS5 and PS6 just for the game (if they continue the episodes in the future). Lol

I think I'll wait for all the episodes to be out first and get it at a better deal. But if the length per episode is pretty long i'll consider getting it on a per episode basis instead.
The other problem is if episode 2 comes out, i'm not sure if i'll remember everything, especially if it's gonna take a long time for the release. So kinda good if just wait for the whole thing. |

QUOTE(bristlebb @ Feb 5 2020, 07:38 PM) this haha I pre-ordered the digital deluxe version. As much as I wanted to buy physical copy, but it's difficult to find the Japanese/Chinese version in local, and I feel reluctant to order oversea. So I just pre-ordered through PSN. Lol.anyway which version you pre-ordered? i checked the game store at MV the normal version no longer accept pre-order I watched the Japanese and English trailer, found out the conversations in both versions are different. May be I will buy the English version after finishing the Japanese/Chinese version. Let see how. Ya it sounds a bit crazy. But this is not the first rodeo for me. I played DQXI and FFX twice, for both Japanese/Chinese and English version. As long as I like the game, I will support all the versions. Lol. |

All real hardcore fans of FF7 are easily working adults now. Money not an issue as long as Square Enix does it right.
