if aeon card spending can be paid by e.g. uob VOX (online spending 5% cash back),

has anyone calculated how much spending is worth to use aeon card, because pos online has surcharges.

i think i can still participate on the second round, after convert from watami into Aeon Big visa

if cashier swiped your orange member card, it will show "expired card" or invalid card. after the approval of your aeon big cc, the orange member card will automatically expired. i'm afraid the cashier did not inform you about it and so the points will not enter into your cc.

i think they will issue cheque or transfer to your savings account.

Basically you can count it as about 3% cashback up to VOX/CIMB CR/PB VS limit.

Perhaps something like this would work:-

1. Spend on some card with 1% (5x or 8x points, or flat 1% like HLB Essential, OCBC GE/WMC etc.) up to 6k.
2. Balance transfer to aeon card for 0% + 0%
3. Pay monthly bill using VOX/CIMB/PB VS

Cash back value:-
1. ~RM45
2. N/A
3. 5%/6% - 3% for 3/4% effective - RM180/240

Of course, posonline can just cancel this 'service' anytime so you take that risk. At least you'll get the RM45 first.

You are a genius, but sooner or later the parties concerned will cover up this hole due to overwhelming abuse.

i think its not really abuse as posonline still earn 2% either way, and aeon bill still gets paid.

the only concern that i can see right now is that they also allow other aeon card to pay aeon card. and i also dont think there is a restriction right now stopping the same aeon card to pay itself (anyone crazy enough to test this yet?). although i duno which sane person would wanna do that because of the 2% fee. But if u trying to escape paying the total amount and only wan to pay 2% instead of 18% + a late payment marked on your ccris... hey its possible rite?

Oh really?! I didn't notice it shown invalid or expired card when the cashier swipe the orange card.. Coz i paid with my AEON BIG CC too which already link with my AEON Big orange member card.. Next time I will c wat it shown when they swipe the orange card, if really no use, then I will throw the orange card.. But, if I don want to pay by AEON BIG CC card, I need to give the credit card for them to accumulate points too since as u said the orange card is invalid d..

You can check your Aeon Big receipt if points have been collected. It usually shows the total accumulated and points collected for previous transaction (if this is "0" means unsuccessful on the orange card).

So far i've been using Aeon Big Visa to collect points with no problems.

I didn't reed through the whole thread, I received a call yesterday regarding the discontinue of AEON WATAMI and ask to replace with another AEON card.

I hold WATAMI card mostly because of the Balance Transfer 0%. Which AEON card has the same BT 0% and AF waive?

Yes BT 0% for 6 months apply for Aeon Cards (Aeon New Gold Card or Aeon Big Card) too

AF will be waive if fulfill x12 swipes in a year, otherwise, call to request for waiver

Anyone know which credit card can give rebate for insurance payment?
