3 Kyoto 10am Then walk to Yasaka Shrine and along the way go through Higashiyama District which is best preserved historic districts
4 Kyoto 11am Then walk to Kodaiji temple which is 8min walk away
5 Kyoto 1pm Then head towards Kibune on northward and go Hirobun Restaurant in Kibune to eat Soumen noodles on platforms over the river. Cost 1200 yen per pax. It open from 11am to 4pm. If bad weather will cancel
6 Kyoto 2.30pm Head toward Kifune Shrine to see According to legend, a goddess traveled in a yellow boat (hence the name Kibune) from Osaka all the way up the river into the mountains north of Kyoto, and Kibune Shrine was built at the site where her boat journey had come to an end.

7 Kyoto 11am Bamboo Grove Once you got back to Toroko Saga station, we headed towards Bamboo Grove as your next stop. The street signage towards Bamboo Grove and Tenjyuri temple are in Japanese so foreign visitors may find it difficult to know the way. It's a good that that you had our tourist maps with us which helped us navigate the charming roads of Arashiyama. After 10 to 15 minutes of good walk, you finally reached the narrow alley of Bamboo Grove. It was really refreshing to smell bamboo and green nature. - See more at:
8 Kyoto 12pm Tenjyuri Temple Please walk further down Bamboo Groves to reached Tenryu-ji Temple. Paid JPY 500.00 (USD 5.00) for entrance fee.
9 Kyoto 1pm Eat lunch at Komichi at Arashiyama. Cheap and nice
10 Kyoto 2pm Do back what you miss out earlier . As surely there are place that are misses. If not do tea ceremony. As previous two day is peak period in Japan. Surely super pack. If not head to Fushimi Inari Shrine. Very tiring hike to this shrine
11 Kyoto 6pm Shop a little and dine back at gion or Higashiyama
12 Kyoto 8pm Ask for temple activity at night and go if there is any.

Tuesday 18-Aug-15 Kyoto/ Osaka 1 NARA 7.00am Go to Nara via JR train in early morning. Eat breakfast in Nishiki Market ^^ . A lot of shop to eat inside . Cheap or eat in hotel for bread for foc. See your budget.
2 NARA Walk up Nobori-oji Street. You’ll start to encounter Nara’s famous sacred deer as you go.
3 NARA Use the underground crossings to get to the northeast corner of the Nobori-oji/Route 169. Walk from there to Isui-en Garden. If you have time, pop into the free and excellent Yoshiki-en next door.
4 NARA Walk from Isui-en along the backstreets to Todai-ji Temple. Before entering the Daibutsu-den Hall to see the Great Buddha (Daibutsu), walk a little south to check out the Nandai-mon Gate, with its two huge guardian figures.
5 NARA Enter the Daibutsu-den. Take your time marveling at the Daibutsu and then exit the Daibutsu-den. Walk along the east wall of the Daibutsu-den and then go up the path that turns up to the right just past the small pond to reach Nigatsu-do Hall.
6 NARA Check out Nigatsu-do and then walk in the direction of the base of Wakakusa-yama. If you’re traveling at a normal pace, you’ll probably reach this area around lunchtime. See my list of Places To Eat In Nara for some lunch picks in this area.
7 NARA Follow the narrow pathways through the forest to Kasuga-Taisha Shrine.
8 NARA Follow the main path from Kasuga-Taisha all the way west until you reach Kofuku-ji Temple. If you haven’t eaten lunch yet, you’ll find lots of place in the shopping streets nearby (in Downtown Naraand Naramachi)
9 NARA In the afternoon, make a loop south through Naramachi, checking out Sarusawa-no-ike Pond, Koshi-no-Ie and the shops and galleries of the area.
10 KYOTO 6pm Return to your lodgings or one of the main train stations.
Wednesday 19-Aug-15 Takayama 1 KYOTO 6.30am Leave toward XXX - the journey take around 5 hours. So eat your breakfast again either in hostel or go nishiki tabao some food.
2 TAKAYAMA 1pm Reach Takayama. Go to the market and stroll around takayama. Remember buy bus ticket for Shirakawa for next day.
3 TAKAYAMA Higashiyama Walking Course - go here to see the whole Takayama and buy the lucky key ring
4 Ask how to go Hida Kiyomi Lavender Garden. There is lavender farm here.
5 TAKAYAMA Eat around and must try the milk pudding, sake, hida beef in Takayama. A must die for.
6 TAKAYAMA Relax in the hotel as it’s a top notch hotel. Enjoy hot spring and relax away your tiring few days trip.
7 TAKAYAMA 8.30pm Hotel got free ramen. Go eat it haha Guests can also enjoy late-night complimentary ramen noodles between 22:30-23:30 at the restaurant. And relax again in Takayama

2 Kamakura 12pm Ask the receiptionist what is nice to explore as this is recommended online. Use the bicycle to the Buddha temple. Don’t get lost.
3 Kamakura 1pm As the former capital of Japan (from 1192 to 1333), Kamakura has many renowned Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines with numerous well-preserved historical treasures nestled among a peaceful wooded and rustic setting. The 850-tonne bronze Great Buddha, the colourfulTsurugaokaHachimangu Shrine and the picturesque Enoshima Island all draw large numbers of visitors to Kamakura throughout the year. Do try out Shojin-ryori - vegetarian food nearby the Big Buddha.
4 Kamakura 12pm Exploring on foot is the best way to enjoy a tour of Kamakura.
5 Kamakura 1pm After going to Great Buddha go to Hase Temple as on the way. Go to Zeniarai Benten Shrine
6 Kamakura 2pm "Explore the rest of the town and go back to your Kamakura rest house for rest for night. Do ask how to go to Wakamiya-oji Street. Constructed along the lines of Kyoto, Wakamiya-oji Street was built by shogun Minamoto Yoritomo (1147-1199) and stretches 1800 m to the sea. The city of Kamakura was created around this street.
There is a raised stone walkway named Dankazura that leads from the station to the Hachiman-gu Shrine, forming an avenue of cherry trees and azaleas that is breathtaking in spring."

2 Yokohama 8am Take the bus back to Kamakura JR station and head towards Yokohama station and check in to your hotel which is XXX. Journey will take 50 min
3 Yokohama 9am If arrive in afternoon. Check in the hotel then refresh your self and head towards Sankeien Gardens. You be taking a 30 minutes bus ride there. When reach you need min 2 hours to explore this garden. Remember go up the pagoda as well. It had one of the best garden in Japan
4 Yokohama 12pm Then head back Katsuretsu An and have the best tonkatsu in Yokohama. Bread cover pork and deep fried.
5 Yokohama 1pm Go to Yokohama Motomachi Shopping Street for shopping and visit Yokohama Chinatown
6 Yokohama 5pm At night head towards Minato Mirai 21 and walk around Osanbashi Pier. Ride the ferries wheel in Minato Mirai 21 and play the amusement park Cosmo World Amusement Park. The ride is pay as you play. See whether u have time and want visit cup noodle museum. Its nearby only
7 Yokohama 8pm If you have time. Head towards Yokohama Landmark Tower Sky Garden which is nearby the Mirai 21. The ride up is not cheap at 1000 yen but u can see the whole Yokohama from here
8 Yokohama Once done back to hotel and rest for the day.
9 Yokohama If got time can go to the free zoo. But optional only.
Monday 24-Aug-15 Tokyo 1 Yokohama 7am Wake up and stroll around Yokohama if still interested if not can pack and ready explore tokyo
2 Tokyo 9am Requested XXX to drop luggage already. So can start shopping from now on. Please book taxi for tsukiji marke for next day at 2.30am. See Tuna Auction.
3 Tokyo 10am Then head towards Imperial Palace. 30 minutes ride.
4 Tokyo Enjoy a pleasant walk in the East Garden of the Imperial Palace, of historical interest and scenic beauty. (Mon. & Fri. Visit Imperial Palace Plaza, Double Bridge, instead of East Garden) Visit the inner moat, 15-feet thick walls and gnarled pine trees surrounding the 250-acre fortress, home of the Emperor and Empress).
5 Tokyo 12pm Walk around the Imperial palace and towards Akasaka Guest House
6 Tokyo 1pm Then walk towards Akasaka Guest House - Brief photo opportunity outside the Guest House Gate; entrance is prohibited. A magnificent Western-style palace built in the baroque architectural style.
7 Tokyo 1.30pm Walk to National Diet Building . 1.5km away. To see Japan parliament
8 Tokyo 2pm Then walk to Tameikesanno Station which is around 1km away.
9 Tokyo 2.30pm Head towards Asakusa Station. It takes around one hour. Grab a quick bite at lawson or 7 eleven nearby as should be afternoon d. Don’t eat too full. Eat more in temple later
10 Tokyo walk to SensoJi Temple which is 500m away from Asakusa Station. Pray and eat the street food. Range around 100 yen to 300 yen per snack. Rice Cracker, dessert is a must

12 Tokyo Take the JR Yamanote Line train two stops north of Akihabara to Ueno Station and use the central exit to visit the Ameyoko Ueno Market. The long market lanes run from Ueno Station to Okachimachi Station. There are over 500 shops that sell everything from basic foods to high-class imported goods at reasonable prices and is always crowded with shoppers.

3 Tokyo See the place where the Tuna Fish auction and then dine in to
4 Tokyo 1st Choice; Sushi Dai - see how long the queue is - If less than 2 hours ok. Get the 4000 yen omakase. If reach 7am need wait till 12pm. So please skip if you reach late
5 Tokyo 2n choice: Sushi Daiwa - get the tuna omakase should be less than 5000 yen
6 Tokyo 3rd choice; Tsukiji Sushisay Honten - order the omakase 3900 yen
7 Tokyo 4th Choice: Sushizanmai Tsukijiekimae - This is the best sushi zanmai in Japan so try out. Queue is far less. Must try Otoro, Akami, Chutoro , Uni, and etc . Open 24/7 a day. Order Zanmai set and the Toro set. 2 add in is around 6000 yen

3 Tokyo 12pm 1. Headed to the viewing deck of Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku for free. It was a hazy day so Mount Fuji did not show up.
4 Tokyo 2. Went to Shibuya to take a picture of Hachiko dog statue and to see the famous Shibuya crossing scramble.
5 Tokyo 3. Walked towards Harajuku from Shibuya via the “Cat” street. Didn’t see any cats but saw a hamster instead!
6 Tokyo 4. Breathed-in a lot of fresh air in the massive Meiji Shrine, a forest in the heart of Tokyo. Watched local street performers do some balloon tricks in Yoyogi Park.
7 Tokyo 5. Shopped for some Japanese snacks to take home from Shinjuku’s Takashimaya store.
Thursday 27-Aug-15 Tokyo 1 Tokyo 9am 1. Met up with Akihabara tour guide and explored the bizarre and geeky side of Tokyo. Surprised to see that robotic dogs are cheaper than real dogs. Went to a maze of 1990s game shops and reminisced childhood memories.
Tokyo Akihabara - maid café must go lolx.
2 Tokyo 3pm 2. Headed to see the Gundam Statue in Odaiba. Saw Mount Fuji by chance while walking along the Odaiba elevated platform. Passed by futuristic buildings which felt like a scene in Jetsons cartoons. Capped off the last full day in Tokyo watching the beautiful Rainbow Bridge come to light.
3 Tokyo 8pm If got time go shinjuku. Go for the robot dancing show here ^^. Don’t eat see only. Tokyo Tower
Friday 28-Aug-15 Tokyo Tokyo 9am Today no more JR pass. So get daily pass. 1000 yen per pax. Khaosan can check out first but put luggage here. Flight at 11.45pm so go airport at 6.30pm. So be here back sharp 6pm.
Tokyo 9.30am Go Ikeburo,UENO, akihabara for last min shopping
Tokyo 6.00pm Reach XXX and take luggage and refresh a while.
Tokyo 7pm Go Haneda Airport and check in.
Tokyo 8pm Eat and last min shopping here. Eat oden and buy royce. But no royce in Haneda. Sad sad.

7 Kyoto 11am Bamboo Grove Once you got back to Toroko Saga station, we headed towards Bamboo Grove as your next stop. The street signage towards Bamboo Grove and Tenjyuri temple are in Japanese so foreign visitors may find it difficult to know the way. It's a good that that you had our tourist maps with us which helped us navigate the charming roads of Arashiyama. After 10 to 15 minutes of good walk, you finally reached the narrow alley of Bamboo Grove. It was really refreshing to smell bamboo and green nature. - See more at:
8 Kyoto 12pm Tenjyuri Temple Please walk further down Bamboo Groves to reached Tenryu-ji Temple. Paid JPY 500.00 (USD 5.00) for entrance fee.
9 Kyoto 1pm Eat lunch at Komichi at Arashiyama. Cheap and nice
10 Kyoto 2pm Do back what you miss out earlier . As surely there are place that are misses. If not do tea ceremony. As previous two day is peak period in Japan. Surely super pack. If not head to Fushimi Inari Shrine. Very tiring hike to this shrine
11 Kyoto 6pm Shop a little and dine back at gion or Higashiyama

Tuesday 18-Aug-15 Kyoto/ Osaka 1 NARA 7.00am Go to Nara via JR train in early morning. Eat breakfast in Nishiki Market ^^ . A lot of shop to eat inside . Cheap or eat in hotel for bread for foc. See your budget.
2 NARA Walk up Nobori-oji Street. You’ll start to encounter Nara’s famous sacred deer as you go.
3 NARA Use the underground crossings to get to the northeast corner of the Nobori-oji/Route 169. Walk from there to Isui-en Garden. If you have time, pop into the free and excellent Yoshiki-en next door.
4 NARA Walk from Isui-en along the backstreets to Todai-ji Temple. Before entering the Daibutsu-den Hall to see the Great Buddha (Daibutsu), walk a little south to check out the Nandai-mon Gate, with its two huge guardian figures.
5 NARA Enter the Daibutsu-den. Take your time marveling at the Daibutsu and then exit the Daibutsu-den. Walk along the east wall of the Daibutsu-den and then go up the path that turns up to the right just past the small pond to reach Nigatsu-do Hall.
6 NARA Check out Nigatsu-do and then walk in the direction of the base of Wakakusa-yama. If you’re traveling at a normal pace, you’ll probably reach this area around lunchtime. See my list of Places To Eat In Nara for some lunch picks in this area.
7 NARA Follow the narrow pathways through the forest to Kasuga-Taisha Shrine.
8 NARA Follow the main path from Kasuga-Taisha all the way west until you reach Kofuku-ji Temple. If you haven’t eaten lunch yet, you’ll find lots of place in the shopping streets nearby (in Downtown Naraand Naramachi)
9 NARA In the afternoon, make a loop south through Naramachi, checking out Sarusawa-no-ike Pond, Koshi-no-Ie and the shops and galleries of the area.
10 KYOTO 6pm Return to your lodgings or one of the main train stations.
Wednesday 19-Aug-15 Takayama 1 KYOTO 6.30am Leave toward XXX - the journey take around 5 hours. So eat your breakfast again either in hostel or go nishiki tabao some food.
2 TAKAYAMA 1pm Reach Takayama. Go to the market and stroll around takayama. Remember buy bus ticket for Shirakawa for next day.
3 TAKAYAMA Higashiyama Walking Course - go here to see the whole Takayama and buy the lucky key ring
4 Ask how to go Hida Kiyomi Lavender Garden. There is lavender farm here.
5 TAKAYAMA Eat around and must try the milk pudding, sake, hida beef in Takayama. A must die for.
6 TAKAYAMA Relax in the hotel as it’s a top notch hotel. Enjoy hot spring and relax away your tiring few days trip.

Do try out Shojin-ryori - vegetarian food nearby the Big Buddha.
4 Kamakura 12pm Exploring on foot is the best way to enjoy a tour of Kamakura.

4 Yokohama 12pm Then head back Katsuretsu An and have the best tonkatsu in Yokohama. Bread cover pork and deep fried.
5 Yokohama 1pm Go to Yokohama Motomachi Shopping Street for shopping and visit Yokohama Chinatown
6 Yokohama 5pm At night head towards Minato Mirai 21 and walk around Osanbashi Pier. Ride the ferries wheel in Minato Mirai 21 and play the amusement park Cosmo World Amusement Park. The ride is pay as you play. See whether u have time and want visit cup noodle museum. Its nearby only
7 Yokohama 8pm If you have time. Head towards Yokohama Landmark Tower Sky Garden which is nearby the Mirai 21. The ride up is not cheap at 1000 yen but u can see the whole Yokohama from here

3 Tokyo 12pm 1. Headed to the viewing deck of Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku for free. It was a hazy day so Mount Fuji did not show up.
4 Tokyo 2. Went to Shibuya to take a picture of Hachiko dog statue and to see the famous Shibuya crossing scramble.
5 Tokyo 3. Walked towards Harajuku from Shibuya via the “Cat” street. Didn’t see any cats but saw a hamster instead!
6 Tokyo 4. Breathed-in a lot of fresh air in the massive Meiji Shrine, a forest in the heart of Tokyo. Watched local street performers do some balloon tricks in Yoyogi Park.
7 Tokyo 5. Shopped for some Japanese snacks to take home from Shinjuku’s Takashimaya store.
Thursday 27-Aug-15 Tokyo 1 Tokyo 9am 1. Met up with Akihabara tour guide and explored the bizarre and geeky side of Tokyo. Surprised to see that robotic dogs are cheaper than real dogs. Went to a maze of 1990s game shops and reminisced childhood memories.
Tokyo Akihabara - maid café must go lolx.
2 Tokyo 3pm 2. Headed to see the Gundam Statue in Odaiba. Saw Mount Fuji by chance while walking along the Odaiba elevated platform. Passed by futuristic buildings which felt like a scene in Jetsons cartoons. Capped off the last full day in Tokyo watching the beautiful Rainbow Bridge come to light.
3 Tokyo 8pm If got time go shinjuku. Go for the robot dancing show here ^^. Don’t eat see only. Tokyo Tower
Friday 28-Aug-15 Tokyo Tokyo 9am Today no more JR pass. So get daily pass. 1000 yen per pax. Khaosan can check out first but put luggage here. Flight at 11.45pm so go airport at 6.30pm. So be here back sharp 6pm.
