If you purchase the exchange order, you must exchange it to an actual pass at major JR West stations (Kyoto, Shin-Osaka, Sannomiya etc.).

Only then, this actual pass you can use it for travel. Like any pass, show it to the station staff at manned gates.

Ya, I mean after exchanging the actual pass. So can just use i at the gates. Thanks smile.gif

I'm trying to book a shinkansen ticket from Ueno to Jomo Kogen. I checked the price on JR site and it says its 5,700 yen for one way. But after I completed my reservation I noticed that the price shown is 3,110 yen instead. Below is a pic of it.

Did I do it correctly or do I have to pay the other extra when I collect the ticket or something?

This pass same as JR Rail Pass.
After used Exchange Order to change into Pass at Major Station Ticket Office.

This pass cannot go into Gate Machine. Have to pass the Gate manually open by Ticket inspector officer.

Just came back from Tokyo....Beside Sukiya as stated in Page 1, I found that Yoshinoya & Matsuya also provide a good choice of budget food.... price starting as low as 380Yen

hi guys,

just wondering if anyone knows what other alternative budget airline to take from KUL to KIX, besides AirAsiaX ... or is that the only option? don't mind exploring connecting flights as well (if there is any).

Just camp for AAX sales, Singaore has some budget airlines that fly to KIX but fare is never at AAX level.

You can surf into this website for cheapest details.

http://www.no1-travel.com/

Based current condition offering from AirAsiaX...there offering among the cheapest fares to Japan. On my experience, route from Osaka Kansai to KL..lots Indonesia,Japanese ,Malaysian and other foreign country.

For me..AirasiaX among the best and cheapest smile.gif

Lucky day, went to places that are supposed to give a good view of Fujisan but was covered by heavy mist. But while driving to Oshino Hakkai, saw this along my journey.
5star to Fujisan, that feeling when you get to see it. biggrin.gif

talking about Mt Fuji, during our visit, we did got a clear view of it during our train ride to Kawaguchi-ko, but shortly after that, the heavy mist built up and we cant see it later in the day and even the second day... cry.gif

fortunately, the next few days in Nikko, we spotted it at Hangetsusan and that's around 300 km away from Mt Fuji... rclxms.gif

anyone here from S&S tried doing KK to taipei thn transit from taipei to NRT using vanilla air?
instead of the conventional KK to KL thn KL to HND(late night arrival)
i notice the price offered by vanilla air is more stable throughout instead of AAX which most ppl know...will have blackout date and limited ticket

I guess one additional risk factor to consider is the risk of flight delay on first leg if you're flying two separate tickets.
