My point was... online u deal with a nameless CS when u call in....

WHen I did it at the branch.. I have a name to put to a face.. anything go wrong I know who to point at and they jump fast when a complain goes thru...
*
My point is that your CS is no use if you have an issue as your submission would be at the card center and not at the bank branch. If your submission didn't get to the card center, knowing the CS at the branch is not going to help you since your application has most probably lost in transit. You'd also be dealing with a nameless CS after you get redirected to the card center.

I didn't even deal with any CS and got my card since the entire application was done with online submission and one email.

I find it annoying that I could not pay online via pbe online using Credit Card...
*
Well, they are trying their best to make you hard on getting cash back, like some racist ministers said before : you tarak suka, keluar whistling.gif
For me, online transaction shall be every transaction I did it using internet connection, but they put an exclusion. This same goes to HLB. But still, now this are the 2 banks that still giving decent cash backs, so you need to spend some extra time sweat.gif
rm833 for PBB's cash back are quite easy to reach.

called CS today twice and according to them seems like my appeal is successful. just need to wait for the card to see they give me VS (the one i applied).

QUOTE(jutamind @ Aug 4 2015, 06:03 PM)
Called call centre and lodged the appeal. They just need my IC and phone number.

Within 5 mins, another person called to verify IC and I told the person that I want to know appeal result by this week

my current watchlist:
1) Ikhwan
2) PB Visa Sig
3) HLWP

initially i tot pb visa sig had uncategorised cashback similar to previous mb amex..

or i should go for HLWP? but i dont like the troublesome of >RM50. and the AF is RM300..

sad...

MBB dual card you still need to keep for any other transactions.
PBB's VS is to settle your utility bills that using UOB Payonline service(that entitled for online transactions).
While HLB's STUPID card is for petrol, groceries and mobile.
MBB cards no need to pay AF while HLB's STUPID card you shall apply for gold instead of platinum, no difference on benefits anyway.

Is 6%cash back, max rm50 a month. So you spend rm834 only thumbup.gif
But I think any transactions done online other than PBB's online portal should entitled for it. Just got the card 2 days back laugh.gif

Not really, MBB VS's benefit are quite minimum(5X of TP when spending in overseas) and you need to spend rm50000 a year to get AF waived.
PBB's VS you only need to swipe 12 times a year and AF will be waived. So if were to get full rm50 of cash back every month, 12 swipes requirement are easily met icon_rolleyes.gif
So, the right option is, PBB's VS, HLB's STUPID follow by other bank's card that giving out > 1% cash back then MBB's dual card.
For me that monthly spending only rm1500-2000, STUPID card for petrol, groceries, mobile while PBB's VS for utility bills and backup for groceries.
There won't be direct right or wrong on which will be your first, second or third card, your spending will decide it.

Is online transaction counted as a swipe?
