Airport Lounge Access Complimentary 3x access to Malaysia Plaza Premium Lounge in a year without condition Only for the principal card holder? Or if 2 person enter considered 2x access?

QUOTE(Parasite85 @ Jul 15 2015, 10:01 PM) I applied for Visa Signature on 5th July through the PB online submission. When I checked through the IVR, the status was "the application has been cancelled". However, when I contacted the customer service, the officer told me that, the staff accidentally added another card type and therefore they cancelled the wrongly input card type. I have a very bad feeling that my application will be rejected due to owning to many credit cards from other banks and I suspect the scenario was the management had declined my VS application and intended to issue me the platinum card. No such thing. When I applied for the PB VS. I owned cards from Aeon, Maybank, uob, citibank, cimb.

QUOTE(Parasite85 @ Jul 16 2015, 05:55 PM) Opps. I had a wrong impression that the total credit limit affect the credit card application. I have a bad feeling that my PB VS will be rejected because I am holding too many bank cards, Maybank 2 card platinum, CIMB WMC, Hong Leong Bank VI (and Mach by HLB VS) and ambank WMC (newly approved). PB may consider I am a high risk applicant for having high credit limit with not so high income :-( as long as u fit their requirement (what was it again? 250k? 200k? forgot) it should be fine

QUOTE(sleepwalker @ Aug 7 2015, 02:56 PM) Ooppss.. I accidentally deleted my own reply. Branches don't do much. They have a big tong that collects all the credit applications and then that is sent to their card center for process. At least that is what I saw in the USJ branch. Branch easier cause u have someone to identify if any problem crop up....

QUOTE(sleepwalker @ Aug 7 2015, 05:09 PM) Actually you don't. You just throw it into a bin. You don't even hand it to any customer service agent. The branch that I went had a bin that says "Place credit card applications here". The branch won't be the people processing the card. I went to PB's branch .. a guy attended to me... help me "fill it in" pfftt... and some parts he not sure he ask another more sr malay lady.... Then.... they mess up on the supporting docs... So I called in to complain followed up with a written complain, thats when the manager came to my office to apologise and gave me a goody bag with some stuff in it

QUOTE(sleepwalker @ Aug 7 2015, 05:19 PM) That's why they got it wrong because they are trying to help as customer service instead of card center agents. The branch I went to was so lazy that they already pre-stamp all the application forms with the name of the customer service who is suppose to attend to you but the person's not there. Like I said, the branch does not process credit cards. At the end of the day all the forms are sent to the card center. My point was... online u deal with a nameless CS when u call in.... WHen I did it at the branch.. I have a name to put to a face.. anything go wrong I know who to point at and they jump fast when a complain goes thru...

QUOTE(sleepwalker @ Aug 7 2015, 07:48 PM) My point is that your CS is no use if you have an issue as your submission would be at the card center and not at the bank branch. If your submission didn't get to the card center, knowing the CS at the branch is not going to help you since your application has most probably lost in transit. You'd also be dealing with a nameless CS after you get redirected to the card center. I didn't even deal with any CS and got my card since the entire application was done with online submission and one email. Deal with CS? I hardly deal with CS... I complained directly and the branch's manager looked into the entire thing, maybe he took it up as his pet project to make sure everything goes smooth before I complaint again I dont really care, all I know was after I complaint, no more calls and the card was delivered to my doorstep. So no, I did not deal with a nameless CS.
