i think during application of housing loan, if your salary payslip exceed 100k, then they will offer this card lor..
they offer credit card based on the pay you earn, not loan amount..but if you afford high loan amount, high possibly your income also higher which indirectly easier to get this card.
all can be nego also la, just request lor, their cc approval department might approve per case basic.

My loan amount 650k, my pay exceed the requirements, still they offered me visa platinum....

I think this is a scam for application through Ringgit Plus, do notice in #3 Ringgit Plus - Public Bank T&C that it has must be approved by Public Bank within thirty (30) days of the application date. So they purposely delay our application so that eventually we do not receive any free gift?



3 weeks still "your IC number is not in our system"? Shame on Public Bank!!!

yes, i've the same issue here... the self service checking is useless, i talk to the CS, CS said still in progress since last week, n he told me normally it takes 2 weeks to process.. but, today is more than 2 weeks d, still in progress as at today..

People claim that MBB is very slow but they are able to process and issue a new credit card at the same day at certain MBB card centre but PBB taking 3 weeks to process a new credit card?

Haiz.. I always thought PBB is the most efficient bank.. Approve / reject, just give 1 answer. Y wasting ppl time..

I also experienced the same 3 weeks delay few months ago.
I end up email to CS complaining, then suddenly name appears on IVR next day. Received another email reply from CS after card approved.

I just submitted mine last week. Hopefully I hear from them next week.

if you meet the requirement, then you should nego with them, say you want visa signature instead...

hi all. just to check MYEG payment consider as a valid transaction for 12% ?
I did 3 transaction for the week but worry MYEG may not calculate for 12% . Anyone get it before?

Based on last round CB promotion, myEG is not eligible. I lost 50 cb.
This round i will not try myeg.
However, Astro and Maxis are eligible
