There are many people have more than 4 credit cards out there.

The credit card application approve or reject depend on many factor and no just how many credit card on the applicant have.

It is depend to many factors as some listed below (different bank have differect factor)

- DSR
- income
- debt
- how many credit card or how many bank credit card
- outstanding credit card amount
- prompt payment or late payment for credit card
- CTOS / CRISS

ya just call them and ask. they will let you know. usually its due to missing documents. just submit it and then they will proceed. mbb also.

only OCBC is the stupid one that will tell you "the reason why your credit card application is rejected is confidential to the bank"   

If you have provided all the document stated in the form, it could be your BT or sudden surge in PB VS application.

i checked with hl cc officer before,  BT surely will affect the application...it is counted in your debt..just like your house loan/car loan.. from HL approval department, debt to net income cannot be more than 65%, else will failed...
for example, if you got 7k loan to serve per month, your net income is 10k...means 70% already, system will reject, need to submit more income document to them, or submit fd..

mine also rejected by Public bank..they didnt even call or inform me, just receive letter like you...i am waiting for their call to ask me submit more document...
for HL, i was being rejected for first time, the officer sms me, ask for more document for second try, explain alot of thing to me also.

i also will reapply public bank VS soon, after most of the BT clear..

When I applied for it two months ago. I had five other CC from Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank and Citibank. And I had several outstanding BT amounting  RM400++ a month with Public Bank. One car loan with Maybank and one 500k housing loan with UOB. But Public Bank still approve my VS.  I think it might also due to your debt service ratio.

Then confirm appprove lo....don need worry

If you good with the staff, he will check for you. Normally bank won't tell us the reason
If you have strong income tax receipt, you can try to appeal or try to submit after 3 to 6 months

Called up to lodge an appeal. Let's see whether there's any good need soon

Sometime will meet the good staff, they will follow your case if kena rejected.
HLB rejected my dad cc application on May but I submitted again last week, the staff said is okay and will try to help me.

Well, this happened to my Maybank Ikhwan too, cannot appeal. I can only retry again after 6 months.
After pleading non stop only told me the reason, due to high exposure.
Ironically, other banks approved me at the same time.

Babe, move on and apply MBB VS first. Later only come back to PBB VS.
Or even MBB Premier since you always travel can earn EM.

Today I tried to pay DBKL-Cukai Taksiran via MyEG portal, but failed several times.  Received "Payment Unsuccessful" error message as attached.
Few months back I paid the cukai successfully via MyEG portal.

Then I tried to use UOB Payonline, no luck but this time it complaints about "Invalid Account Number".  When I checked their sample bill, seems to me that it only accepts old format (e.g. 3000999995, not 10009999)

Anyone face the same problem?

It used to be like that early this year. however, my records said that i've paid for my wife's property (dbkl) last month using payonline. it should go through  as her property is newer and only have the new number
