Hi SIfus,

I'm looking to install 9-10 indoor units, and very much interested if there is any vrv option that the sifus would recommend? I'm looking ar energy saving options and it will be rare occasion to turn on all 9 to 10 indoor unit at the same time. Any advices from the sifus things that I should take into consideration ?

Thank you

It depends on the facility layout and (core function AC units) and (seldom used or optional AC).
For the core function which are always in use can consider one of the Daikin multi split options. It will probably be cheaper than getting multiple single-split units especially in the bigger (2hp+) region.

The seldom used AC can be factored in as normal single split units (inverter) but if the room only run AC for 10 days in a year (i.e. "AC for show only") you can just buy any non-inverter AC.
Why not multi split everything, you will ask. Excess capacity that is seldom used (in a multisplit) is just buying too big a compressor (more hp than you ever need) for the 90% of the time where the seldom used units are off.

I bought for RM1698 including installation with Additional RM50 Rebate and extra 1 year warranty.
Included Free Pillow as well. Lowest speed also very strong? That's good.
Which temperature normally you set? Heard that Daikin Air Conditioner very cool.

Maybe can reset the router and/or disconnect the other stuff first. It could be things like IP address conflict with other device using wifi - while the other devices (laptop, phone etc) are more capable to re-negotiate IP using DHCP I think the built in wifi might have tried asking for free IP too many times and gave up if other device stealing its proposed IP laugh.gif

I got mine much cheaper, but its a long story. Order a cheaper model but Out of stock, so they suggested this FTKU28AV1LF which is not listed in their website. Confirmed with our CEO sifu here and purchased one RM1241 + 230 installation + =35 shipping

I normally set 23C on my previous aircon, but now 25-26C....new aircon is like this. I think u gonna enjoy yours too XD Btw, if u manage to pair your unit with wifi / phone, please update me next Tuesday bro, Thanks biggrin.gif

Sis actually doh.gif

Friend had a problem with older laptop wifi cannot connect to expensive new router earlier on but technically in your case controlling the pecking order of the connected devices should fix it.
I don't use Daikin AC at the moment, mostly a mix of aging dinosaur Toshiba (installed by previous owner) and the newer ones are Hitachi CJ and Mitsu Mr Slim.

The FTKF series..

https://www.daikin.com.my/daikin_products/ftkf-series-r32/

See btu spec 1hp only 9000btu
Turbo also 9200btu

Compare w other 1hp AC in Daikin other series 1hp should be higher btu 9xxx.
Compare w other mfg's spec, most of the competition produce 1hp with higher (nominal) btu, 9200 is just normal, 9700 is what I would call a full fledged 1hp cooling performance. Hence earlier on I say this series just buying for badge only laugh.gif

Update : Just got my unit installed.
I managed to scan the barcode located inside the air conditioner.
Need some patient to scan as the barcode is too small.
Try to focus the barcode as possible.
Managed to connect to WiFi also. But got delay response and no sound when using the Apps to control.
I connected to 2.4GHz WiFi as the adapter don't support dual band. You can try pressing the search WiFi Button instead of manually entering the SSID.

Quiet powerful. I tried every features. Fan speed one still acceptable.
I tried looking for the QR Code. I check the warranty card don't have then I check the QR code inside the A/C.
Until I realize got two warranty card. One is without QR Code and another one got.
I am using the ECO+ Mode now. Tried the Powerful Mode very satisfy to stand in front of the A/C. Haha. brows.gif brows.gif
The QR Code on the unit itself a bit not straight, I need to adjust scan nearer. Try to scan nearer slowly.
If too far cannot scan. Tried using Data to control also can. I guess available for two years then need to pay yearly subscription. The Installer didn't explain about the GO Daikin. I have to experiment that myself.

Hi guys, need your advise for about my concerns on my newly purchase Panasonic air con outdoor unit:

1. If the outdoor unit has a dent spot on the blue fin, will impact the cooling performance (As shown in the photo)?

2. Will it causes corrosion problem sooner?

I had order this air con from Lazada (because of Save 2.0) and I had asked about this dent and the seller said it will not affect the performance. Is it true?
