My friend Daikin inverter 2.5hp about age 2 month old, not temperature not as cold as earlier and compressor motor getting loud noise, set temp to 16c but room temp is 20c plus.
outlet air was only get 16c compare to his other 2.5hp panasonic outlet was 10c.

my mhi 60dB but why I can sleep easily and not affect anything when I work/study. noise is too overrated lei as long as below 70dB.

Well, some that are having hearing problem can even live with 80dB, but for sure it won't be me

May I know what Aircon can go 70-80dba?

Guys, Got a question, Any idea why my AC there is water dripping from this location? Its a Daikin Inverter I bought in Febuary.

Most likely gas shortage.

Due to poor installation an issue

he have complaint few time, Daikin technician came few time to check.

my friend told why quality so poor, then he continue to turn on the aircond all day long 24hours still the same temp.

gas was all ok no leaking issue, now will continue to operate 24/7 to kill the aircond to get the warranty replace new unit.

Toshiba M'sia like home Aircon already long time ago never push thier products anymore, from what I knew they have Daiseikei comes 7 layers of filter, but also hard to find their outlet, now even phase out of multi split unit in sg markets, that meant thier sells really drop a lots.

ME more higher price of you wanted the high quality
Pana will be ok, if more concern on budget of future parts
York = Daikin actually is the most realiable brand & cheaper parts, also the most cooler than others Japanese brand here from what I list.

I thought the price for MHI > ME, quality wise not M.Heavy Industries better than M.Electric?? Not going to get York even it have cheaper parts, have problem all the times using York .

Actually u can simply ask the Aircon shop and see which one more expansive from between ME & MHI, I guess you will reconsider of MHI ha ha

And what I know of is most of MHI in Malaysia still using R22 and not R410a. That mean these old model definitely will be cheaper than ME which I assume.

R22 still have a plenty in markets of any brands.

Like after sale service from ME is much better support

coldness is one thing. Sometimes you pay extra for efficiency. Atheistic. Quietness and others fiction like horizontal swing. Auto filter cleaning or plasma....
