but somehow, I went through the forum... I saw another post did mentioned inverter need to on up to 7-8 hours only consider is save cost on electricity bill.
whereby Non- Inverter is just on for a few hours like 2-3 hours... then it is just fine.

is this true?

Yes normal usage... But somehow i still find it useful as we need to monitor the savings for the electricity usage

Does anyone knows why the new r32 inverters are all only 4 star rating? is it because Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) is now more strict with the measurement or the airconds are not power efficient compared to R410a?

Most of the R410a are 5-stars rated, while the new R32 are all 4-stars rated from the ST stickers.

Mine 991 and 4 star.

I am having a question here. I just serviced my room aircond and have a short chit chat with the technician.

I asked him, is it recommended to change my current non-inverter to Inverter with R32 gas?

He told me that like my case use non inverter will be good enough .. and inverter is actually the same in term of electricity saving...

1 more thing he mentioned that R32 is flammable... easy to cause fire up.

any comment?

The only problem I see so far is the aircon cant remember the fin angle setting after I totally switch off the main aircon power.

Hitachi inverter with frostwash, the cheapest version. First time play with frostwash so scare got water drip down but after running frostwash, check aircon no water drip down.

Hi, I think newer Panasonic Air Conditioner doesn't have Fan Mode. If I'm not mistaken.

My room air conditioner has fan mode but I'm using non-original remote as the original remote malfunction. The battery compartment there. The spring came out like very loose.

The technician recommended to check filter on weekly basis for dust.

the air cond guy that service my current air cond told me that panasonic air cond not good...
Reasons giving are below:
-Too much model launch in one time
-Spare parts stop production after 5 years
so the air cond if very good condition also maximum can tahan 5-8 years only.

They recommend me to take Acson or Daikin Inverter....
then the Daikin Model they offered to me is Inverter model FTK15Q with R410a gas.

which one to choose? very confuse.

Was your aircond guy wearing a "Daikin" t-shirt by any chance?

This is a common story when you ask an aircond guy which aircond is best in the market.

Most likely the actual reason is he is an agent for Acson or Daikin and as such can get better wholesale prices for it or a better commission when he sells it to you.

You can still buy parts for a Panasonic that is more than 10 years old. Just because he can't find it or doesn't want to find it does not mean it no longer is available.

That's one reason why I always opt to buy appliances from an independent electrical shop rather than one of these types of  guys.

Just an update, electricity bill drop by RM30.

Changing the aircon was the best decision I made instead of keep troubleshooting the old aircon.

Lets see how as months go on.

need help! its possible to replace my old non-inverter a/c with new inverter a/c without adding an extra cable/wiring ? meaning just use back the existing 3 core wire......my contractor told me is doable.

from my knowledge, inverter a/c needs a 4 core wire, correct me if I m wrong.

So I have been looking around for 0.75hp. Got one electrical shop tell me indonesia very popular. Malaysia don't have. I went to restaurant that have one really tiny aircon however they tell me few years old and they have forgotten where it comes from. So my question is for 0.75hp, got unit with condenser outside or all 0.75hp aircon windows units.

All I care for really is energy consunption. Tempted to just buy 1hp inverter unit at this point.
