been driving k3 for about 4 years. fuel consumption is not too bad. it's just average.

Has it been a reliable workhorse aside of wear and tear parts?

4 years old and i have already clocked about 120k in mileage. so far so good actually. no complaints except maybe lack of power biggrin.gif should have gone for the 2.0 but dont get me wrong. 1.6 is sufficient for daily drive.

normally ppl hungry for torque not HP. 2.0 also didn't give you best feel for power. just go with TGDI

Hi. How is the fuel consumption on your cerato? Planning to get the cerato for my mom since it has high rebate now. However my mom greatest concern is the fuel consumption, she actually wanted to get honda city coz of it’s great fuel consumption (i owned a city). Just considering whether there’s not much different for the FC on the City and Cerato
*
FC Honda City win hands down. But the driving experience and all is difference since its a different segment. Hehe. If FC is your main concern then get the City, but if you want more space get the Cerato. nod.gif

Whats the rebate like nowadays? OTR car price?

Correct. FC of the 1.6 Cerato is similar with any Proton cars with 1.6 campro engine.

However, the refinement & NVH levels of the Cerato is way better than the City.

FC for bigger cc engine will always be higher. Can't compare to a smaller, lighter car like Myvi with smaller engine.

To be honest, I was like u previously, undecided between City Hybrid and Cerato. But due to the fact that City Hybrid is out of stock and Cerato got awesome promotion, i bought the Cerato instead. At least its something different than the City that I already have. nod.gif

guys, i saw this service schedule for the 1.6l model, it says at the 60k km, need to change v-ribbed belt. but at 80k or 100k it didnt mentioned about the timing belt set.. means this car is using timing chain n no need to change ? how to check the condition?
how many belts / chains there r in this car ?
what items r being controlled by this v-belt?

Hi, anyone already did service for 160k? Can someone share the cost and list down the service details. Is there any service schedule after 120k? So far I only see the service schedule up to 120k.

Can somebody point to me where to get Cerato original wiper online? I changed the wiper once to bosch clear advantage but it's not so good, maybe i got an imitation. Is the original bosch or denso? Which one should i get? Thanks

Usually, any demo car will only be available at the end of the model cycle, when there is new model change. Any demo car available at showroom will still be used for test drive purpose.
