Utada:

For streamyx, what IP are you on? And is that a 2mbit connection?

If you're getting 200s, your ingame ping must be stable on 300-400 max. That's amazing. I've only gotten that kind of ping on ISDN, and that's to ubah everquest server

Hmm... Played WoW yesterday. Pings times in game is around 1.4k. Should be playable but the lag spikes are horrendous.

I was with a full team running Uldaman and I was their main tank. Many times I lagged like for more than 30secs during the spikes. Luckily we had a good priest doing the healing so I didn't die that much.

Did a trace route to WoW and the packet losses are still there.... I dread to call TMNuts about this, I doubt their "telephone operator" know what packet losses is all about...... sigh.

Lostboy: Have you tried getting 218.208. or 218.111? I'm using these 2 and .111 is the best thus far, but both are "acceptable" and only occasional spikes.

219s lowest pings I get are mid 400s, with killer packet loss. This sounds like what you're on.

Good luck

This is a relief. I'm not the only one experiencing these spikes. I also had like 1400ms (on dial-up) latency yesterday, which on normal days are quite playable. But the spikes, messed up by Stockade runs and it's unbearable.

Anyone knows when this would be fixed?

Owen : 219 is what I'm on ALL the time. No luck loggin on other IPs. sad.gif

I guess 219 is still heavily loaded. would've expected TMnet to take the downtime opportunity to load shed 219 users to other IPs, but noooooo..... Then again from what I've read other IPs are pretty much area dependant, but still, I'm sure TMnet can do something about it.

the origin network route that uses the optic cable which is being repaired right now will be done after april 20 if following the plan. hopefully it will return a faster and more stable connection after that. wink.gif

my WoW connection was back to normal status since early Sunday...........for 218.x.x.x and 219.94.x.x addresses, i'll get between 500-700ms latency........while for 219.95.x.x, it'll be the usual 1.5kms latency response..........so malam-malam will spend around 5-10 minutes to get the precious 218 and 219.94 IP address...............

Post time :

tied 219, 218, 60. All the same. 1.2-1.6k ping, with a crapload of spikes. You can grind mobs without too much touble, but PVP its a nightmare. one moment you're confronting a hunter, the next second he dissapears and he's behind you a long distance away sniping. He must be thinking "ahahaah, this warrior is stupid."

No one can get 219.93.xxx?

It's really stable, like old days. In game is 300-600 latency. I live in Taman Megah, if it helps. As someone mentioned earlier, try connecting from 6-8pm, guaranteed 93. After ~10 I start getting 94 and 95, along with the associated problems.

Just got my epic last night on Malygos sweat.gif
