Manage to install PlayStore, but the usage it's quite limited right given it's low memory?

As expected... Many here don't even have the Play Store installed cuz it takes up space too. They just download apks and install manually.

Just want to share my experience on the unbind and bind process of the STB [EC6108V8].

Get the MAC address of the new unit ready and call up the call centre to request for the unbinding of your current STB and the New STB. They might say that your current STB would not need unbinding, but that is false. Insist to unbind both.
Once the process is done on their end (might take several days), the STB will automatically come to the login screen. From here, you will need to input your Hypptv User ID [*****@iptv] & password. The password will default to
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Entering the user ID and Password will bind the account to the STB. So, do make sure that you're on the new unit.

In my case, I was told that I did not need to unbind my current STB which, in the end, required a visit from their technicians. All they did was make a call to unbind the old STB and input my account in the new unit.
They replaced my first generation modem to the latest one for free though, so I got that going for me.

TL;DR : request to unbind both old and new STB. Wait for login screen to appear. input user and password on new STB.

I have a HyppTV STB, already rigged with FTMC and Playstore inside. Since I've already have APKPure, how can I uninstall Playstore? Can I just enable auto Update?

Once you auto update it should automatically remove playstore.
But why update? You risk of them changing code to access as well.

Just installed play store in my new tv box. Managed to install YouTube app from the store. Logged in using my account. Showing all my subscriptions and all but can't play the videos. Showing "No Connection" (Playback ID : xxxxxxxx) click any key to retry.

How do I overcome this? Or I need to use the YouTube from Kodi?
TIA

I've read some installed older versions of youtube that works. While others use Youtube for Android TV's but that really sucks because so much of videos get filtered it became almost unusable.

Using KODI youtube addon are a real pleasure. You lack the youtube interface, but video plays really well and really fast. You will miss a bit of the old youtube interface at first, but you will forget about it a few minutes later.

You have to use a different youtube apk from the original one in playstore as it doesnt work. There is a link to that apk in these thread.

Yes, I am using that. The original YouTube that comes after installing Play Store doesn't connect.
So I went into Play Store and download the "real" Youtube apk file and installed it.
Managed to logged into my account and managed to displays all my subscribed videos on the screen.
But once I choose a video and try to play it, it will show the error code.

Eh unless there's a 3rd Youtube apps I am not aware of? hmm.gif
