Just installed play store in my new tv box. Managed to install YouTube app from the store. Logged in using my account. Showing all my subscriptions and all but can't play the videos. Showing "No Connection" (Playback ID : xxxxxxxx) click any key to retry.

How do I overcome this? Or I need to use the YouTube from Kodi?
TIA

I've read some installed older versions of youtube that works. While others use Youtube for Android TV's but that really sucks because so much of videos get filtered it became almost unusable.

Using KODI youtube addon are a real pleasure. You lack the youtube interface, but video plays really well and really fast. You will miss a bit of the old youtube interface at first, but you will forget about it a few minutes later.

Thanks for the advise bro. So ultimately just install Kodi Youtube add on. Got it. thumbsup.gif

You have to use a different youtube apk from the original one in playstore as it doesnt work. There is a link to that apk in these thread.

Yes, I am using that. The original YouTube that comes after installing Play Store doesn't connect.
So I went into Play Store and download the "real" Youtube apk file and installed it.
Managed to logged into my account and managed to displays all my subscribed videos on the screen.
But once I choose a video and try to play it, it will show the error code.

Eh unless there's a 3rd Youtube apps I am not aware of? hmm.gif
