Yes, I am using that. The original YouTube that comes after installing Play Store doesn't connect.
So I went into Play Store and download the "real" Youtube apk file and installed it.
Managed to logged into my account and managed to displays all my subscribed videos on the screen.
But once I choose a video and try to play it, it will show the error code.

Eh unless there's a 3rd Youtube apps I am not aware of?  hmm.gif

No, thats not it. The apk is a modded version of Youtube specially made for this box. Im not too sure where the link is but I downloaded it online. The link is definately in the back pages of this thread.

Out of warranty or working while under warranty... For free? No. You will to pay? Yes.

Else, if out of contract period. Terminate and reapply a new subscription.. Contract calendar gets reset. IMO, the box ain't worth it.

I upgraded my Unif line a few times from 5 to 10 then 20 then and finally they upgraded me to 50. All these done via Telephone so no of my equipment was replace. Last week I called to complain why I was not given new Router and new STB. I have to call a second time before they send their tech guy to replace my old Dlink DIR-615 with a TPLink Archer C1200 and the new HyppTV STB. No charges at all.

U got lucky. For me they say that no replacement if not faulty. Even though I upgraded my unifi from 5 to 30 then 50.
First I tried to get back to them, but after comprehensive reading on their T&C it looks like it was indicated there no replacement for existing subs that upgraded.

Lucky my device rosak a bit within warranty. So they replaced it with new ones. Still, what a sucky way to treat old customers.

Hi everyone, may i know anyone of you encounter such issue where the HyppTV will get disconnected after watching a while? The issue is the hypptv will stop working, the image will freeze and showing a satellite dish with a red (X) icon. I am using the Huawei EC6108V8.

Yup... TM issue.. Sometimes, a hard reboot resolves it, other times, you'll just have to wait till Hypptv service is restored to you.

Well you can keep complaining that your internet speed is slow. The DIR-615 max WAN speed is 20MB.
So I ask TM tech support that I have to use my own equipment to connect to the internet, but when I call for support they say they do not support 3rd party product. So I ask how, like that the DIR-615 cannot run at good speed. What do you want to do, I refuse to close the case and call every alternate day. Tech support have KPI so if you call enough they will replace in the end.

Usually STB can play the media files from USB pendrive and external hard disk.

I believe there's a firmware update that made it unable to play any external sources.

Refer to the attachment.

Yes, you'd have to call to get your login details from TM or have a technician come over to configure. Weird that your package comes with regular Hypptv packages, but not the STB. hmm.gif

Yes, the only greater speed I see is TIME 100 Mbps for RM149 which I am thinking anything difference for UNIFI 10 Mbps with voice call RM149.

If i'm presented with the TIME option, I'll take it in a heartbeat. Currently paying 179 for 30Mbps. Waited for free bump to 50Mbps, only to be told that the infra can only support max 30Mbps.. doh.gif With TIME, I'd pay 189 and get 300Mbps. That's a no-brainer. C'mon TIME, hurry and expand.
