I can adb sideload apps into hypptv box, anyone interested, can whapps 016-4215659

Not sure if even the installer knows the maintainance code because when my installer installed my unifi, they put 3008 (the leaked maintainace code) into the stb. After they update the unit it changed the maintainance code automatically.

yeah! they change the maintenance code, my es file explorer still there, im still able to install apk, but play store seem like not working..

maybe version not same

The step has been post by someone earlier.. you just need to go through it. and do little bit of trial.

Set debugging from usb, mapping the port, then use wifi debug

My 2nd Hypptv box is still no update. What I had done to this box..

1. I use Google DNS.
2. I change the Admin and Operator login ID and Password.
3. I'd restricted to specific Mac Address to connect the WIFI.
4. I had configured the HyppTV connection to a Wireless by enabling 2nd SSID specific for LAN port 4. So no more cable.
5. I had removed the update link in Settings -> Maintenance.
4. Playstore Settings - Manual Update.
6. Always Switch-Off the box after use.
7. Teach the Wife & kids not to accept any update prompt by quickly switch the box Off button.
9. Always prepare $$$ to buy new box in case worst thing happen.
10. Sit back and relax with Home-Made Nescafe while enjoying your entertainments..!

Actually, only step 5, 7 & 8 matters. Though for 8, there isn't any update prompt. As the box simply connects to the server, fetches the file and installs. The rest.. Kinda irrelevant to the box updating.

My mother in law's OCD about turning off every electrical appliance not used for even 5 minutes have paid off! She hasnt turned her hypptv on for months since I'm the only one who uses it for KODI so yesterday before turning it on I unplugged it and turned off my router.

Did the steps in that blog link few posts above and voila! looks like no updates yet. Play store still able to download new apps. Saves me a couple of hundred ringgit having to buy a new android box lol

Well, actually most of the apps are not compatible with this box if direct download from Play Store. So, just download ES File Explorer or any file manager first and sideload your APKs instead. Do it first before something happens to your box.

How to install new playstore? Anyone can show step by step? I am zero knowledge about this. Thank you.

Nothing can be done to your box, it's already updated to latest version. Just pray someone find a way to overcome the blocking by TM.

There's a member, posted his number a few posts up.. Says can offer a solution.. I'm guessing for a fee (understandable).. Try?
