hey guys,

What is the difference with side loading apk files and install the apps from google play store directly?

I tried install the IFLIX app directly from google play store but the app keep asking for login details which I don't have since iflix in my pc and mobile do not ask for this and will automatically detect my unifi. where do you get the login details?

Please shed some light:)

Well, some apps cannot install from Play Store, it will mention not compatible. So the best way is sideloading your preferred apps and you can install most of the apps using this way.
Back to your question regarding iflix, don't bother trying on this box anymore, the latest version can no longer use in this box. It will prompt the login page. It will not work anymore. Even if you try to use back old version, it will force you to update to the latest version.
Short answer to your question, move on and stick to your PC and mobile for iflix.

I'm not a "man", FYI. laugh.gif

Yes, you can install Kodi with YouTube add-on.

Oh well, I don't think MyIPTV is free and such discussion is prohibited here. If you have any APK file then can install in this box but just bear in mind of the limited storage it has.

I've been plague by this HyppTV lagging issue since early December till now. Certain channels having the stuttering issue where the picture would freeze or lag in less than a second, however the audio is fine.

TM has tried increase bandwidth for HyppTV, failed.
Then I request for new TV box, also failed.

Even changed to Huawei WS880 router, too failed. I'm quite frustrated on this. Anyone else faced this and manage to solve this?

Well, look like I am not the only one who facing the issue, Yes exactly the same lagging issue encountered by me also since last week, all my channels experiencing slight stuttering issue whereby the picture would freeze in a sec however the audio is fine.

At first I thought it could be due my Unifi lines, iptvbox or my TV problem but now saw your post look like it is not the case.

If you managed to solve the issue, kindly share and let me know as well.

I wonder what he means by "jailbreaking' the STB...perhaps fooling the system and having all channels unlocked while paying the same price? I'd be impressed if he achieves such and it lasts (minimum a year) without detection on TM's side. However, I think its just installing some apk for IPTV channels.

they keep on denying they have done nothing but infact they did something at the TM Box just outside of my house - prior to that i did login to hypptv with the correct username & password - TM100 even rest my whole account - but i think what they did was they re-bind the mac address of my STB manually in the TM Box with their switch/hub (or something like that) - i have done this b4 for my customer in my previous company with Cisco switch/router.
and TM100 sent me sms to rate their services in solving my issue - i refuse to do so because i want them to call me as usual to close the report - so that i can taruk them nicely. But they never call.

So it's not something that I can do by myself then. Too bad. No HyppTV for mom. LOL!! So did they call you eventually? biggrin.gif

Did you plugged into the correct port? Such as port 4?

TM designed it to be used via LAN port 4 and not WiFi (cuz Hypptv service has its dedicated bandwidth).. Since you are using Wifi, I'll assume you set it up and know how to reverse and try again.

If just want to use it as an Android box without watching HyppTV then WiFi is fine.

The YouTube pre-installed app cannot play anything. It's rubbish anyway. You gotta sideload your own apps.
