The latest update? I don't seems to receive any updates at all for this box. So i didn't bother about removing the updating / maintenance URL from this box.

What is the latest android version did they push to your box?

Sis, you removed the link only? What about if just un-check the auto update function in the update menu?

mine auto update yesterday. this morning i try to install back everything. Es explorer no problem. netflix no problem. but i have problem with google play store. i google it need to have google play services. but i cannot find which version suit with the box. huhu. anyone can help.

I cannot recall if I have unchecked any button but I can remember quite well, I removed the link.
Sorry but the box is not with me, I can only check out tomorrow when I go back hometown.

Check the version? I supposed in settings, there must be something like "About Device/Box". Check it out.

Well, why do you want to root this box? If I read back posts months ago, it is not stable after rooting.

mine im still using the silver 1st version box.. more faster/responsive and the picture more clear than the new box.

It's in setting menu for updates, just enter the maintenance code and you will see the link to the update server and beneath it there is an option on whether to receive auto-update.

Like to know what is the model of the box.
If it is Huawei EC6108V8, then need to know how is it configured.
The Streamyx box is not bind to the MAC address. Moreover, it is not tag to VLAN600.

Well, attention everyone... If you still have Google Play Store on your Hypp TV Android box, install ES File Manager now before it's too late. Hahaha...

Someone just shared the link earlier to install Play Store apk. Though I'm not sure how to do it without ES File Explorer.
