Waja 1.6(A) 220km/h. On route to KLIA, was already late. Still steady but can feel the rear floating a little.
2nd highest was 190km/h. On the LDP.
Stock car, no modifications did. And please don't trust the tech sheet, it's not accurate.

Whoa man, never knew u could hit such a speed on a stock Waja... Amazing! But on the KLIA highway still ok as its a rather "quiet" highway when compared with the congested LDP (190kph on this one, then i really respect u man! )...

QUOTE(ben83 @ Oct 31 2006, 01:30 PM) I know they do on highways too but what I said is that overseas car manufacturers do it on special circuit too in order to test the really maximum speed achievable by the car they manufactured. yee.... we toking about local cars... not other manufacturer like i said... iswara 1.3 really need to maintain very good only can achieve that speed..... kcng is rite... just that u haven't achieve 180 yet.... so u think ur auto 170 is fastest and impossible for other iswara 1.3 to do.....

I'm saying that in response to kcng's reply about car manufacturers using theory to get maximum speed, whereby in reality it is not just theory because it involves practical too. I'm not sure about other stock Iswara 1.5i auto but mine is peaked at 170 km/h, no matter how long the straight road is. And no, I did not feel my Iswara is the fastest as I drove an Iswara/Saga 1.3 Limited Edition which achieved 175 km/h on the speedometer (the meter is slightly faulty though). We are sharing actual facts here & exchanging informations about Iswara/Saga cars, not to challenge who's car is faster. However as enlightened by gouki, if the car comes with the factory preinstalled 4-2-1 extractor on Iswara/Saga LMST 1.3 manual then I believe the 180 km/h is achievable. Otherwise, no way a normal stock Iswara/Saga 1.3 manual able to achieve that speed unless assist by a steep downhill. This post has been edited by ben83: Oct 31 2006, 05:45 PM

Haha Gen.2 can do about the same, tested with my friend before. LDP that one was at 4am, hence the speeding =p Actually hitting the speed is possible, you just need to keep flooring the accelerator, but just know the consequences-lah =p. Before I bought my Waja, I used to drive a Iswara 1.3 Manual totally stock, I achieved 180km/h before, though the whole cabin was rattling like hell. Why is it not possible? Just because yours can't?

A few friends of mine & myself who drove Iswara 1.3 manual before can't reach 180 km/h at all. All of us complained that it has not enough power & top speed, some even commented they frequently defeated by Kelisa 1.0 manual. However a few of my old friends did managed to reach 180 km/h (& even over) but all of them claimed that their speedometer is not accurate or even faulty. Weird part is that I never got passed by any Iswara 1.3 manual during race & tailgate events at highways, although my current Iswara 1.5i auto only able to achieve 170 km/h. This is why my conclusion is that 180 km/h displayed on the speedometer achieved by some forumers here is not real (unless fitted with the 4-2-1 extractor by default). I'm sharing my experience & facts, not to demotivate you guys. I'll do another test with a Iswara/Saga 1.3 manual LMST when got chance, so I can get another more accurate benchmark result.

Why not you try driving an Iswara 1.3 manual at 180 km/h on par with one of your friend's car & share with us the results here? I planned to do that myself too when I got the chance, just to prove if I'm right or wrong for one last time. That's more practical. You guys seemed very worked out with this & confident of the 180 km/h speed, whereby my group of friends are all skeptical about Iswara's performance & as I said some of them even got beaten by Kelisa 1.0 manual for a few times.

What is so surprising getting beaten by kelisa 1.0 manual? RX-7 is only 1.3, Vios is only 1.5, City is only 1.5, Jazz is only 1.5, does it mean my Waja can smoke them too?
