180km??sterling shaking not????

Pretty impossible for a stock Iswara 1.3 manual (even with meagre power help from the slightly enlarged exhaust) unless at a steep downhill or the faulty speedometer is faulty.

I'm driving a stock Iswara 1.5i auto myself & I had also driven a stock Iswara 1.3 manual before too. Unless it is modded, moving downhill or speedometer faulty, no way to achieve 180 km/h.

Then it is definitely the speedometer is faulty or out of calibration. Even the specifications brochure for Iswara 1.3 manual did not state its maximum speed can achieve 180 km/h. It is not the matter believing you or not, it is practically impossible for a stock Iswara 1.3 manual to achieve that speed.

eh ur car doesn't shaking ah? my 1.3m wira reach 150km/h shake like shit u know. especially left side. eventhough steering is firm but i cant stand to see my left side dashboard vibrating like want to tercabut.

I had practically driven almost all version of stock Iswara 1.3 manual, none can reach 180 km/h. However, I experienced driving an Iswara Limited Edition 1.3 manual with a slightly faulty speedometer (the meter moves up & down a little) able to achieve the top speed of 175 km/h (that's considering the speedometer is faulty). I had also heard from other forums that claimed stock Iswara 1.3 manual can achieve over the max 180 km/h on meter but the drivers themselves believe the speedometer is faulty.

Tried both brand new & used unit before, not possible. My current 6 years old Iswara 1.5i auto can achieve 170 km/h though.

No offense, but definitely not possible for a stock Iswara 1.3 manual. All people that I know of (from real life to forums) who achieved that figure also acknowledge that the speedometer is faulty.

Please don't get work up. It is a fact that stock Iswara 1.3 manual cannot achieve 180 km/h in reality. If still don't believe, ask your friends/relatives (with actual technical & cars knowledge) or even google. If still not convinced, try to ask your friends/relatives to try out top speed together, so you can get benchmark results. I trust your posted picture is real but as I said before, your speedometer is faulty or out of calibration.

My current stock Iswara is 1.5i (pre-installed fuel injection kit by Proton, only available to limited units in the year 2000) automatic but is for sure 170 km/h is achievable and the speed verified with my friend driving a Waja following behind.

Regarding the brochure, I'm not sure about it but car manufacturers won't bullshit (even if they do, they will state a higher top speed than actual, rather than lower) on their top speed as they tested their cars in ideal conditions.

nope they did not do it on any circuit... in fact they do it on highway....ofcoz driven by expect for testing cars..... coz i know a case where this is read scenario... how they test a car and top speed is they run on highway... from tanjung malim plant to kl den back.... and he was testing gen2... in the website stated top speed of 195 but the tester flat out the speedo meter.... ofcoz they put 195km/h in the net.. coz thats not the safe speed for u to travel...  and pls dun follow the website detail so much k... maybe the kerbweight or others are truth but not all... btw.. what others car u driven b4 btw.... and yes waja can go up to 200 even with auto

Yes, that new saga really can do 180km/h. My fren's 2004 saga can do that speed as well but i have to admit it needs a long stretch of road to reach that....

Anyway, i dont see any of our members who own those monster rides to post their top speed here. hhmmm........

Well, i notice that the old iswara although using the same engine isnt that good for top speed and i'm surprise that the new saga can do 180km/h. I also noticed that the early batch of saga in 2004 has better performance and stiffer suspension. I notice the 1.3 is being matched with a factory 4-2-1 extractor. hhmmm.....

For what wanna post top speed here? to show off? Any car also can reach 180/200 km/h but my question here is how fast can u reach from 100 - 200 km/h?

Don't even need to take out the meter panel. Just unplug the speedo cable from the gearbox, stuff in an electric drill to the end of the speedo cable and run it at full speed. That will make your speedo 'teng piu'.
