1st don't buy Prism+.

2nd don't buy that Huawei also.

Look for LG, Samsung, Asus, Gigabyte.

Since this is your 1st time buying Ultrawide, it is recommended go for 34" Ultrawide which is 21:9 aspect ratio. This is around 1.25x of Wide 16:9 monitor.

For 49" this is Super Ultrawide which is 32:9 aspect ratio and it is 2 units of 27" Wide 16:9 monitor.

Also suggest go for 1440p only, which means it is 3440x1440 for Ultrawide and 5120x1440 for Super Ultrawide.
This 5120x1440 Super Ultrawide need a lot of GPU juice with support of DP 1.4 or HDMI 2.1, I am using it and I love it but I came from Wide to Ultrawide to Super Ultrawide.
This Super Ultrawide maybe too wide and too long, so I suggest you don't straight go for it.

Brother, I like how you slapped my face. Why no prism+ and Huawei ya? I saw prism+ got a lot of product sold in Lazada though. And Huawei demo set for mate view GT is 1999.

If I have a budget between 2-3k what would you suggest me to for ya? I saw the number I blur already. 😐But I roughly got the idea don't buy something my graphic card cannot support. But got any model I can pursuit my happiness now ya? And Huawei because I saw shipping is free. Coz I stay in Sarawak, full of jungle. Shipping cost few hundred, you got any model to recommend plus the link to buy ya? I also don't mind 49 because my staff can use for tuition for virtual classroom multasking. But anything bro, help me lost my virgin to ultra wide. 🙏🏼

No one is slapped your face, if you think I am slapping your face. Then just buy whatever you though is nice. No need ask in the forum.
People try to tell you it is not good and you said people slapping in your face?

RM 3k you want to buy 49". Wait in dream. Even Prism+ model also need RM 4k.

Prism+ had many bad review especially on lasting issue.

Huawei only have 2 model monitor and both also not so good due to the surface is way too matted that impact the screen look like dusk and that View GT is even worst in overall.

No one will buy monitor check on free shipping. Checking the quality is the most important thing.

--------------------

Here some Best Ultrawide Monitor, but most out from your budget For Super Ultrawide, they is not many in market and all is out from your budget.

Your budget can get a very good Wide Monitor, very less choice of Ultrawide and definitely not for Super Ultrawide.

Ok. Understand.

I think this look ok for it price and from the review here - https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/aoc-agon-ag493ucx
I personally never use AOC monitor before but AOC always got great review with good price.

Also please remember this is 32:9 aspect ratio and they is no movies in this ratio, means they is always black bar on left and right in movie.
As for gaming, latest games normally is support, but older games and console games will mostly not support.
If the games is only support 16:9 aspect ratio, then it is also means half of the screen is black divided to left and right. This also apply to wide screen 16:9 aspect ratio movie.

But if your main usage is productivity on Excel, Database or open few apps together, 32:9 aspect ratio is very cool to use.

For the HDR support, don't put too high hope as it is only HDR 400 which most the time can display worst output than SDR.
For example dull color output, over exposure in bright scenes or under exposure in dark scenes.

For HDR, HDR 600 should be the minimum.
For great HDR output, you need to have HDR 1000 with 1000+ local dimming zone mini-LED in VA or OLED.

I use before HDR 400, 600, 1000 and I can tell only 600 and above look good.

Following video telling you what important thing need to look for HDR.

If let say I don't go for 49 inches, what other good monitor at 34 could I get at the price range?

Thanks bro for the slogan. But can you guide me what I should do now? Should I wait for new model, or should I buy any existing brand? Is Huawei mateview GT a good start? Or Acer, dell, Asus or anything? First time in my life upgrading my pursuit of happiness in immersive experience. Don't want to get it wrong.

I am no expert. I use a Gigabyte Ultrawide. So far so good. One thing though. It's a bit too bright if use for long session. I need to tone tone down the brightness or it hurts my eyes. Get the one wirth 1440p if your PC isn't super powerful and you do gaming. I use an RTX 2070 and it's fine at 1440p for most games I play (I don't play FPS, so don't ask me about that).

I think 34" is really big enough for sitting in front of it on a desktop. I use my old 24" as second monitor for viewing videos so that I don't have to use my main Ultrawide if I need to follow long sessions of video tutorials
and can fully use the Ultrawide for all my work windows.

Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 Launching For RM 7,599

Not sure it is better than the Alienware or not and it is extra RM 2k.

But I do much prefer this design. Clean and simple.

Asking for opinion:

LG 34GP950G vs Alienware AW3420DW. is it worth paying more for LG?

Or what if top up and get the latest Alienware AW3423DW?

Thoughts?

It is just normal 34" 1440p+ Ultrawide monitor. I actually do hope it is 38" and 2160p+

Ok la, no need 144fps, higher hz got it purpose, as long it is not over the hz then surely no tearing issue.
