I notice light bleed on my AW17 FHD IPS panel at bottom right corner, I'm sure it is not IPS glow as it is really consistent in all angle. Really annoying for me when I do dark graphical work and really need really good color accuracy.
I suppose I can always call Dell to replace my monitor until my warranty expires right?
yes you can. however a better option for you is to use an external monitor of your choice. much easier to replace.

mmm amp quite expensive somemore very hard to get
and guys.. i remember my seller said, even the gc to soldered to mobo... he still can upgrade the gpu for me if i want... he said on paper only they say new alienware cant be upgradable... it is worth trying?
usually this means dell will swaps your current mobo with another one that has the gpu of your choice. this should be an upgrade service provided by dell.
other than the above, it's better don't go for it.

and guys 1 more noob question.. should i upgrade my bios? what is bios for actually?
bios is a program/firmware resided in mobo that lets operating systems to recognize and make use of hardware it connects to (cpu, ram, intel chipset, hdd, ssd, keyboard, mouse, gpu, etc. essentially every hardware component in your computer)
if your system is stable, you can opt for not doing it. however, it's a simple process. as long as you follow instructions as is, you will be fine.
