Sorry for the late reply as I had been busy with Raya celebration.

As for the Taobao.com,  I found it a little bit hard for me to navigate around as the website is written in Chinese. Any other alternatives to get the keyboard replacement? Or maybe just the key caps? biggrin.gif

If the Alienware laptop is under warranty, can we request that the faulty parts are to be replaced with new parts?

The Dell Customer Service Officer insists that only refurnished parts are given as replacement. Is it true?

If u lucky, you'll got New parts. If not, refurbish. Their refurbish is as good as New. So, don't worry. And u can't request New or refurbish. Is up to them.

here all fine, except for video playback. there are some codecs unsupported. not a big deal because i use mpc-hc anyway hehe

a fresh install is much better. i did that and it's the least problematic.

it's fine. my desktop is with that message also. the thing is that nvidia already supply the compatible driver for my card. just remember to download that driver and install it after upgrade.

My alienware 14 is giving me errors whilst installing Windows 10. Error with First-Boot occurs during data migration. I don't even know what it means yet.

The SSD is expensive one. I think should be around RM 4k to RM 4.5k if it still under warranty.

Technically? You ask the guy call me. I got 1 unit is warranty is over. I want him to warranty for me. Haha...

Usually the term "lift time warranty" is refer to product life time. Not purchaser life time.

If today iPhone 7 is life time warranty, Apple release iPhone 7s half year after and stop iPhone 7 production. Mean the warranty is over. Haha...

Anyway, Dell don't have life time warranty. The tech. guy lied to you I guess. Or he don't know.
