The SSD is expensive one. I think should be around RM 4k to RM 4.5k if it still under warranty.

That expensive ? That guy said no onsite warranty but dell technically have lifetime warranty .... I have to bring to them.. What does that mean ? Lol

Technically? You ask the guy call me. I got 1 unit is warranty is over. I want him to warranty for me. Haha...

Usually the term "lift time warranty" is refer to product life time. Not purchaser life time.

If today iPhone 7 is life time warranty, Apple release iPhone 7s half year after and stop iPhone 7 production. Mean the warranty is over. Haha...

Anyway, Dell don't have life time warranty. The tech. guy lied to you I guess. Or he don't know.

ya u got a point!! i guess gotta ask him what is his definition of lifetime warranty... rolleyes.gif

is not tech guy, is a friend want to sell his set to me.. friend who goes way back with me but less comms. after he went to further studies in Melb for 8 years d now...

what do u think of the pricing? about 2k tops..... he is bringing it back frm Australia..
never owned a laptop b4 so i tot if its a good deal why not blush.gif

hi guys,

need some opinion and advise..

my AW 17 R2 warranty just expired not too long ago..

im thinking of change laptop as i worry in case anything happen to this AW, repairs or change parts will b expensive? or i can just go to lowyat and let those Pakistans or Bangla settle..? lol

actually i barely use laptop so thinking to sell this and get a new laptop around the budget of 2.5k with 2 years warranty or more so no headache.... i suppose i sell this 1 now and top up few hundred can get laptop within my budget?

it all boils down to my main concern about this AW , if it breaks down will difficult to repair or find parts? i use this laptop very lightly only mostly for browsing.... no gaming nor vigorous tasks...
