It shouldn't. It is just a magnet that should only wake up your phone when it is opened or closed. Loosing 40% at night is a bit bad. Few things that you can try to get better battery:
Turn off Google now
Turn off location history
Uninstall Google fit
Uninstall Facebook/messenger and use the web version
Disable account auto sync.

The thing i bold it pretty much disable at the first place.
I thought Facebook only drain battery when you connect to wifi / on mobile data hmm.gif
also the brightness do you enable Adaptive brightness or disable it?
currently i disable and set the brightness level to the mininum and see how it goes.

A bit bad? doh.gif Clearly his phone has issues. Normal phones only lost ~5% over a night without disabling those things you listed.

Check your battery usage under Power management. See which app is draining the battery. It takes just one misbehaving app to drain your battery.

It would be preferable if you monitor the battery the next day.
I can't think whether it's between user or phone's fault.

battery is 30% now as i had browse the internet / play games before.
now i try again tomorrow see how much % left this time with flip cover open.
this is because when i close the flip cover i suspect the phone never goes
to standby/sleep mode sweat.gif

Edit: So this time my battery left 28% sweat.gif today i going
to test again to see whether if i let the flip cover close really drain the battery and
sometime the phone not going into standby mode / sleep mode compare
to flip cover open sweat.gif

My colleague bought a M5 and I wanted to test the waterproofing using the pressure test in the Service Menu and found that it doesn't have that test >.<. I guess only Z series have it.

I do have one issue from time to time, which is that my phone's sometimes doesn't connect to my office's WiFi. This is until I unlock the phone, then it connects straight away.

Anyone experienced this?

I know the phone is not connected because I have a tasker profile that turns my phone to silent mode when I am at work (I have the lg g watch to notify me), and sometimes when I come in, the phone will still have notification sound. Then I unlock the phone, saw that the wifi is not up, then wait like 1-2 seconds, then the wifi will go connected.

My battery seems normal, it consume around 5-8% if left overnight without disruption.

Yeah it is always on, and when this happens, I go into WiFi and the list is blank, strange eh? I think at the current age, the list should never be blank.

Hey,

You guys tried connecting the C4/C5 with an external DAC? I got a Ibasso DAC and when I connected my old SP (on JellyBean) it connected easily no issues. But now with C4 it seems to connect (the DAC light up) but when I play sound nothing comes out. I have already done:

1. Developer Options and un-tick USB debugging
2. Restart phone
3. There's also an option for USB Audio or some-such and I untick that one as well.

Whats the issue does anybody know? On Jellybean everything ok. Is it Lollipop issue?

Thanks
*
Dudes,

I found a solution for the above problem of C4>DAC>Headphones= no sound. So a tip for all those using an external DAC to enjoy music from your C4s here:

If u download the Onkyo HF Player, and listen to your music through the app you should be able to use any external DAC available. It worked for me. Just need to tinker abit with the app setting to make sure it registers the external USB device.

However, I think Im bypassing the ClearAudio digital processing/EQing feature of Sony's Music app. Still playing around with it.
