My case is Bitfenix Prodigy and FSP Hexa 500w for my PSU. I think my current PSU is good enough to power GTX970 right?
*
It can power up the GTX970,but it'll be a big risk.

Zotac GTX970 Reference 4GB GDDR5 RM1271
Liteon 900S 256GB RM429
Seasonic S12II 620W 80+ Bronze RM339/M12II Evo 620W 80+ Bronze Fully Modular RM379
Total:RM2039/2079
Price of the GPU is from Cycom@LYP and the rest are from Viewnet@LYP. smile.gif

Included a better PSU.

Hi all, looking for a budget build ~RM 1.5k excluding peripherals.

For everyday usage, programming, and some gaming, maybe world of tanks, civ 5 and such. Nothing too demanding.

Looking for something with say a g3240 (don't plan on any ocing), r7 250x or 260x and ~450w PSU.

Also, about price lists that include gst for each single item. To get the actual price, should I deduct 6% from each individual part and only including it after totaling that amount?

Thanks!

Hey thanks for the quick reply. Would it be possible to replace that 4gb ram stick with an 8gb or maybe add another 4gb stick? whichever is cheaper. And maybe replace the 550w with an 450w? would 450w be adequate at powering those specs?

Also, whats the best way to purchase at lowyat? not really comfortable carrying around stacks of RM50s .

How much would I be able to haggle down for the lowest price?

Thanks!

Get this.

Intel Core i5 4460 3.2GHz RM679
MSI B85M-E45 RM289
MSI GTX960 Tiger OC 2GB GDDR5 RM850
Kingston Value RAM 8GB DDR3 1600MHz RM209
WD Caviar Blue 1TB RM189
FSP Hexa+ 550W RM199
Thermaltake Versa H25 RM135
Total:RM2550
Prices are from Viewnet@LYP. smile.gif

Looking at the Jayacom's pricelist, they don't seem to have FSP Hexa+ 550W..entry level PSUs are mostly,if not all are crap ones on their price list. tongue.gif
MSI GTX970 Tiger OC 4GB GDDR5 RM1419.34
Liteon 900S 256GB RM429
Total:RM1848.34
GPU is from Jayacom@LYP and the SSD is from Viewnet@LYP. smile.gif

I assume you're using an ITX case? hmm.gif What's your PSU?

Alternatively, you can sell of your GPU and CPU to get Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz RM949. wink.gif

Change to 8GB RAM at RM 209 (top up RM 100)

450W and 550W price difference is just RM 40 and AMD GPU is power hungry, better get 550W for more headroom.

You can pay with credit card/debit card as most of the reputable shops are accepting card. And about the price discount, it depends on the seller, some sellers who are kind enough might give some special discounts to you if you buy whole set from them.

Normally building the rig is free of charge if you buy whole set from a shop and you get to know which parts are spoiled (if there is any) and better cable management (if the rig builder is good enough).

You can build yourself to get experience if you wish to do so.

This build is enough for 24/7 (work office/downloader etc.), if you are worried about temperature, buy 1 or 2 more case fans. You can downgrade the CPU and RAM if your workload is not heavy to save money.

EX stock means existing stock, new stocks have their price increased this week.

And it is a limited time promotion for just RM 699, definitely worth every single penny.

Windows and MS Office require license key one, they will probably install the trial version without a valid license for you to test the system but you will need to buy the genuine key in order to keep the Windows and MS Office activated.
