utorrent : how to control the seeding sequence?

The latest completed torrent gets seeded while the older completed torrent ends up in a queue.

you can't have total control over the seeding. Some older torrents are not in demand, so who r u going to seed to?

but if you want to have some control, just stop seeding the ones that you don't want to seed for now. Later you can continue seeding the files.

I usually keep 1.0 - 1.5 seeding ratio, unless there's no demand for the files. What's yours?

you need to reduce your download and upload bandwidth since utorrent is using it all up. If that doesn't help, try lowering your "Global maximum number of connections" too.

juz down lil tweak by adjusting "Global maximum number of connections" & "Maximum number of connected peer per torrent"
now even more better thumbup.gif stay around 100kbps.....G-SPOT!!! brows.gif rclxm9.gif

of course la, you're limiting utorrent bandwidth

btw, you're on 1Mbps package?
note that since 1 Byte = 8 bits. Notice the big B and the small b?
1Mbps means 1 Mega bits per second = 128 kilo bytes per second (theoretically)

that means you can download at a maximum theoretical speed of 128kB/s using 1Mbps package. Actual maximum speed may be around 118kB/s

you're probably using 512kbps package like me. Theoretical max speed = 64kBps
Maximum (actual) speed around 54kB/s

LOL... good for you. Glad I could help.
And it's 100kBps, not kbps tongue.gif

portforwarding does help, trust me. if you keep getting yellow light at the status bar at the bottom of utorrent, once u portforward u will get green

The settings from youtube doesn't really work, because their ISP bandwidth is much faster than our Streamyx. If you follow their settings, you will find your line choked to the point of not able to surf while torrenting.

The settings that worked for me is

Lower down "Global maximum number of connections" & "Maximum number of connected peer per torrent" and ensure "Protocol Encryption" is Enabled

The torrent port number should follow what you put in your router/modem and firewall during port forwarding
