utorrent : how to control the seeding sequence?
The latest completed torrent gets seeded while the older completed torrent ends up in a queue.

QUOTE(CoffeeDude @ Jan 5 2009, 09:03 AM) utorrent : how to control the seeding sequence? you can't have total control over the seeding. Some older torrents are not in demand, so who r u going to seed to?The latest completed torrent gets seeded while the older completed torrent ends up in a queue. but if you want to have some control, just stop seeding the ones that you don't want to seed for now. Later you can continue seeding the files. I usually keep 1.0 - 1.5 seeding ratio, unless there's no demand for the files. What's yours? QUOTE(Klemann C @ Jan 6 2009, 04:52 PM) i'm having some weird problem.... you need to reduce your download and upload bandwidth since utorrent is using it all up. If that doesn't help, try lowering your "Global maximum number of connections" too.my ddl speed was fast & fluctuate around 80-100kbps,but after several minutes of torrenting..... my browser will showed connection error & not working at all....IE,firefox,chrome & etc. after exit uTorrent, everything back to normal.... anyway, how to solve da problem? |

QUOTE(Klemann C @ Jan 6 2009, 05:55 PM) of course la, you're limiting utorrent bandwidthbtw, you're on 1Mbps package? note that since 1 Byte = 8 bits. Notice the big B and the small b? 1Mbps means 1 Mega bits per second = 128 kilo bytes per second (theoretically) that means you can download at a maximum theoretical speed of 128kB/s using 1Mbps package. Actual maximum speed may be around 118kB/s QUOTE(defaultname365 @ Jan 6 2009, 05:57 PM) you're probably using 512kbps package like me. Theoretical max speed = 64kBpsMaximum (actual) speed around 54kB/s Added on January 6, 2009, 6:18 pm QUOTE(Klemann C @ Jan 6 2009, 06:12 PM) juz down lil tweak by adjusting "Global maximum number of connections" & "Maximum number of connected peer per torrent" LOL... good for you. Glad I could help.now even more better And it's 100kBps, not kbps This post has been edited by rebelsoul76: Jan 6 2009, 06:18 PM |
